Thanks Pryo Kris! It was my first firework store tour so I have leaned somethings now that I will change for the next firework store tour. But I'm glad you enjoyed this one.

Are they open year round

The manager (owner maybe? Not sure) has some serious knowledge about vintage pyro.. He's a great guy to work with for sure!

Yeah, Tom is a great guy if we are speaking about the same person. He has been in the Pyro game for awhile now and really knows his stuff if your talking about any fireworks including the vintage fireworks.

Do you have to get a license to get wholesaler prices? Just wondering if they'd give a better deal if someone wanted to buy by the case...

No, you don't need a license to buy wholesale. You have to know what firework stores do wholesale and then you just ask them to get a wholesales price list per case. Then you either place the order online on in store. You can either pick it up yourself or have it delivered through freight shipping. I would first find the firework wholesalers in your area first and if you do not find one you can look outside of your state. I would shop around and see who has the cheapest prices of the fireworks you want.

I have never been to a red apple fireworks before so I could not tell you which is better or cheaper. If you have the time, look around at any ac building firework stores around you and compare prices and product to see what you like and what you are willing to pay for the fireworks you like.

no red apple just doesn't carry them anymore. When I heard that they where no longer getting products from them I cleared them out of what they had.

I never had seen such an old school collection of fireworks I grew up with in one place so it brought back a lot of memories for me. It made me want to start to collect some vintage fireworks myself.

Yeah they have some nice priced retail items compared to what I'm used to in my area.

What are some of the louder firecrackers on the market that are common to find? I will no longer buy blackcats, as the last 3 packs from three different places in 3 years turn out to be horrible. They have been toned down way too much

BTW, my video for Friday this week will be 32,000 cutting edge firecrackers so you should check it out and see if they compare to vixen. And yes, black cat had cheap firecrackers the past 2 years so I would stay away from them. When any firework brand doesn't put there logo on the product, they know its gonna be cheaply made so be careful out there choosing the right brand to purchase firecrackers from.

that place is huge i mean better at least have a good hour or two to look brands what dont they have i should say iam in pa but been to black market in 2011 they had half fireworks half beer i see all fireworks now

Thats okay Cool Guy, at least you have fountains. There a some states that you cant even have snakes and sparklers or fountains. I would recommend trying to find the biggest 500 gram fountains you can find and I would recommend : Amazing by cutting edge or Darkside by black cat. Both are 2min long awesome assortment of effects fountains with amazing finales.

You have some states around you that allow fireworks. Maybe venture over to them to celebrate if you can. Just dont do anything illegal just for a firework. It's not worth it.

Depends on where you live but yes, there are states, county's, and city's where you can shoot fireworks all 365 days a year

Not that I saw mainly because M-80's are illegal to posses and sell to consumers. And I doubt any legal firework store would ever sell those anyways for safety reasons.

Because their wholesale pricing is so lowly priced it seems like they got these fireworks off the black market.

Yes they are open year round but in slower times of the season, you have to schedule an appointment to see the retail side of the store. But wholesale pickup orders are scheduled when paid so they will be there when the pickup date is. The store # is (417) 624-5947 if you want to setup a time to see the retail side of the store. I get what you mean. We could live in some states that dont sell any fireworks or limit what fireworks they can sell. I'm glad to be in Kansas city because I know there are 100+ firework stores and tents that are either open year round or sell the week of the 4th of July within 100 miles around me. The biggest group of stores and tents I have seen were 3 A/C stores and 8 tents within 1 mile in Riverside MO and yes I did go to each one.

To be honest, its about making something appear bigger making the consumer think its going to perform better than a smaller cake. The firework manufactures will try to use any visual or written appeal to market their fireworks as better than others and allowing them to have the consumer pay more for certain brands than ones that have the same effect at a lower price. A perfect example of this is if you look at any TNT firework, you will notice they use a lot of cardboard and clay to make the firework appear that you are getting a bigger firework than what you really get. And you will always have one of these "Marketing" words on every TNT fireworks exclusive, new, maximum load, or maximum payload to make you want to purchase the firework more than others.

They do have a catchy name MC Cartoonz. But all consumer 1.4 fireworks for sell at Black Market Fireworks. I will say there house brand are a steal of a price compared to other firework company's. You can get a case of 500 gram cakes 4/1 wholesale for under $60.

Compared to Cannon Brand, TNT, and Phantom fireworks, Black cat is far above them. But I will agree Black Cat is not the best but better than others.

Well someday all states will wont to honor are fallen hero's and our Independence that we have fought to have to this day. But until then, you might have to venture to other states near by to celebrate.
