Plastic Laskos. Hard to believe they are the most common fan these days. And their parts are mostly from China. My small blue Cool Breeze is from 2006, and she still works perfectly. It just takes a while to speed up when you turn it on high. Must be a Chinese motor thing. But I don’t mind it.

I have the same fan but on mine the blade is badly warped from the factory...CHINA

I have this fan i bought 2 years ago and its still working good . Flimsy cheap plastic tho

@@HPad2 Mainstays has been redesigned it is no longer made by Pelonis. Those mainstays you destroyed are Pelonis fans

@@HPad2 because I've seen videos of some Mainstays fan having a new old design. But you know I bought the exact same one in black for parts for my vintage windmere I found in the trash because I fucked up the capacitor and worse was that the motor was beyond weak and only handled the newer lasko blades better and I couldn't open up the motor. I ended up putting it in the neighbor's front yard.

Honestly the box fans are not too bad, But I find the motors get weak over time. My current main fan is a Lasko Box fan, Its almost a year old now and it gets now where near up to speed anymore already. High is more like medium.
