Black Label Society, formed in the late nineties by legendary guitar hero Zakk Wylde, have established themselves at the forefront of heavy metal with a series of hard riffing and hugely successful albums alongside worldwide tours that have cemented their reputation as one of the most powerful live bands of their generation. "Unblackened" finds Black Label Society in a mellower mood in a performance filmed at Club Nokia in Los Angeles earlier this year. The concert showcases the band's songs with a greater use of acoustic instruments but without losing any of their power and intensity. Zakk Wylde leads from the front as always, performing here on both guitar and piano and demonstrating the subtler side of his music alongside the blistering solos that his fans know and love. This is definitely a live concert not to be missed!

100% right. My life sucks right now, dealing with 2 types of cancer and an old lady that is a fucking BITCH. But it will be alright. Just took a seat at a back patio of a great little whiskey distillery in Wylie, TX. All alone. Nice sunset, perfect weather, a whiskey drink and my brother just shared this video. The best metal band in existence today. Raw, heavy and super loud. The Wylde Audio line of guitars are amazing too. I have the Mahogany Blackout Blood Eagle and it is wicked! BLS rocks.

We were there, along with quite a few Mongols. Those guys were very cool, and conducted themselves as complete gentlemen (suprised?) By far the best concert i've ever been to. Words cannot describe. We miss you Nick, we miss you. God bless...

On my 30th year of life want to buy a guitar and start learning solos of this song!!! Was trying to memorize at least where roughly on fingerboard his fingers are. I could endure to watch intently only half of the second solo. What a spiritual capacity Zakk Wylde has!

I’ve been hooked since 2005, but this song technically isn’t a black label society song. It’s off of what I think is Zakk best work to date of anything he has ever done. His solo album the book of shadows. Acoustic rock record masterpiece
