Awesome swap as always. Something I noticed about the cluster helper, when the key is in there is a pause between chimes, that’s meant for if the headlights were left on, and if you turn on the headlights without the key in, you get the key in chime. Kinda backwards but still cool none the less

I see what your saying, but if I'm not mistaken, for a specific body style (Either 11-12 or 13-16) the chime actually was that slow. That might be what your confusing with another years speed of the chime

I can’t wait to get my Excursion interior swapped. I want to do it a bit different: captains chair swap front and second row. Heated and cooled both rows and food and tumble third row (quick disconnect I’m thinking). I’ve already converted from leaf spring front to coil (05-07 suspension swap). I want to do a front nose swap too. Everything to 11-16. I’m open to platinum, king ranch or lariat interior. I wouldn’t even mind if factory leather was trashed and needed to be reskinned in Katzkin. Love the factory look with all the upgrades. Looking good.

You need the front suspension setup from an 05 and up super duty. 3 existing holes on the frame line up with the brackets so you only need to drill out the remaining two holes (which will be aligned already due to the other three. Then axle and suspension parts, etc. it’s practically a bolt up situation, only cutting is for the wheel well liners if you don’t want to sprint for new ones. If you go with the bigger (newer) brakes, make sure you have wheels that clear them. I put 2017 platinum wheels and tires on from someone who did a lift immediately after they purchased the truck.

When you swapped the column how did you account for the chipped key?

I have an 03 excursion with knob ac controls. I have an 08 xlt interior for the swap. Is there a radio surround that will allow me to use the knob ac controls, or an 08 setup that can be adapted?

At 13:08 what new door seals is he talking about? What year do they come out of? I have a 2002 excursion that needs new door seals.

Not talking about the electronics in it and I know they wouldn’t bolt right up, but was wondering if it’s even possible to mod them in. Thanks for any help man.
