Black History Month: The Land is Ours - keynote speech from Tembeka Ngcukaitobi SC

On 13 October 2020 we welcomed leading South African lawyer and author Tembeka Ngcukaitobi SC for a keynote speech 'The Land is Ours': recovery and redistribution of communal land in post-colonial South Africa, where he spoke about the expropriation of land under Portuguese, Dutch and most significantly, British colonial rule in South Africa in the broader context of colonial injustice in the continent, and discuss what is being done in South Africa to seek redress through the Land Tribunal and national courts.

One man cannot win this war, more South Africans have to listen to him and educate themselves so that they can use the arguments he's citing to get the land back.

Can't believe such an important subject has only 44 likes. Mr Ngcukaitobi wraps up the South African land restitution stalemate forthrightly & constitutionally, and without rancour. It's also a history lesson plain & terrible.

15:24 Excellent summary of the real history of South Africa. His brief account is miles ahead of " From stone axe to space age", a history book we used during 70's . More Africans in SADC states should watch this priceless video
