Shameful behaviour from those white adults. Abusing and threatening a 6 year old like that. But I am judging by today's standards. Thank goodness, that Ruby making that first step, encouraged change.

I don’t know what today’s standards have to do with it. The top half of the US recognized it was wrong, so it has nothing to do with the times. Just like the racism we still see today can’t be excused by ignorance. It’s just rotten people being rotten.

Uh, no they did not. She and a few other students passed a test to be allowed to attend white schools. Her parents decided to send her, while some students remained in the black schools and a few others attended a different white school. Where did you get your info?

It’s called an adjective. It’s a word used to describe something. History is a broad term, using a word that narrows the field is helpful. Plus, it really irritates closet racists and they always feel the need to out themselves 😂
