Give him some credit. A lot of dudes are surprised by the makeup and can't get past it. At least this guy can see past it to the music and performance. He's willing to watch more and learn. If not driven away by this kind of response, he'd watch and get so he didn't think anything of it.

I just wish I was a young girl watching this. But I'm a grown ass woman with multiple degrees and a day job, plus I'm leading an academic organization, but these boys are taking over my life. I was never fond of boy groups when I was a little girl, but this group is different. A lot of ARMYs are not "young girls". A lot of us are professionals. I agree. I am 26, a mother of 2 children with a very busy life so believe me when I say I am way past the phase of fangirling over young boys, and yet BTS managed to take over my life. I listened to their song "Hold me tight" by coincidence, it was recommended to me on youtube and the lyrics spoke to me. I've been hooked on them ever since. Their music helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I respect them. They are very special.

I find it awesome and funny that Bris went from this, not knowing who tf any of them are and not being exactly sure to make another kpop video or not... to having a whole kpop based channel and freaking meeting idols like Jungkook and Ateez. Lmao if this is "too much make up" you should see Blood Sweat and Tears, Jimin regularly gets mistaken for a girl by first time reactors in that MV 😂 But just letting you know, make up on men is completely normal, even in America, Korea and other Asian countries are just more open(?) about it. I don't know about your personal music taste, but if you like more hardcore songs, I recommend "Not Today" and "Fire", for more tropical vibes "Save Me" and "Blood Sweat and Tears". For Hip Hop, DEFINITELY check out their live performance for Mic Drop, it's only a few days old but already iconic. Make sure to watch the one titled *BTS (방탄소년단) - MIC Drop (FIRST EVER BTS COMEBACK SHOW)* though. There's another live performance of this song out there as well, but the camera work in that SUCKS SO BAD you won't believe it, so please make sure the watch the right one (thumbnail has a guy wearing black clothes and a black hat, the channel's name is "BTS being BTS").

Everyone thinks V, the anime looking person looks like an anime character. We sometimes doubt his existence because he's too good looking to exist. Also oddly enough although majority of the people who listen to them are in their teens, there are people in their 30s, 40s, heck even 50s who listen to them lol

And people in their 50's and 60's - like me!! I've loved BTS since 2015 - even went to the BBMA awards in Vegas to support them and sat near them! I haven't loved a group this much since I loved The Beatles in the 60's. BTS boys are the real thing. There's no doubt about it!

Here's an explanation of who they are: They are a South Korean "boy band", as us Americans would say, who obviously have 7 members as you've pointed out. You guessed correctly when you said that they have a mix of rappers and singers. Three of those members are rappers: the red, blue, and orange-haired boys. They first debuted in 2013 and are signed to a company called big hit entertainment. Now as for the music style, it varies with each album they debut or in this case mini track. They have gone from being "hardcore rappers and a bad boy, boy band" to "sweet boy you'd bring home to your mom boyband lol". In their last album, they matured a lot and really grew as artists. If you want a better understanding of their music style varying I suggest you watch Save Me, Blood Sweat and Tears, or Fire. P.s. Their fans are called Armys, (which I am) so if there are any armys out there don't scold me too hard if I got something wrong lol.

To add to you description. Compared to western boy bands, these guys and girls and South Korea are trained dancers and vocalist (however it does come second sometimes) and they are trained to the bone. They are a very hard working bunch. Most Kpop idols do not produce their own music but BTS (and others) work very hard in writing their own lyrics and music, moreover they are very much included in the production of their videos which is mostly thanks to Bighit being an amizing company to give their artist the chance to do that (which many entertainment businesses don't)!
