Make some U shaped indicator pins for those bows that shoot below 270fps.

Just curious what indicator you use for initial 20 yrd and 60/70 yard do you treat as a single indicator Just to find the correct sight tape.

When you are choosing a sight tape on the 3pin dual indicator sight, are you just using the 20 (top pin) then to shoot at 20 and 60/70yds to find the right tape?

I typically use the bottom pin. In the case of my setup it is a .010 pin which allows for a bit more accuracy at longer ranges. It is also the pin I intend to primarily use as my floater.

Do you know what size Allen wrenches are needed to move the indicator pins?

I believe it is an .05" allen wrench. It is pretty tiny.

I got the mtn lite it works perfect. Just want to know if on this model, can I switch from manual to the micro adjust for windage and elevation? I seen a video where they switched out the Allen bolts for the micros adjust knobs.

Just checked sight, 4 months to ship a lefty 3 pin pro sight w dual indicator, w the x frame mount? Have one in stock now?

sorry, not in stock. We are actually seeing Black Gold getting custom sights out in 2-4 weeks!!

I will add, that you need to know the speed that your shooting, the tape does not always match your two indicators, start with painters masking tape , get your 40 yard pin and shoot 50 , 60, 70, and 80 marks, then bring your tape over and match it to those marks , it will then be accurate, on the the three bows I set up, the speed for my tape was usually 3-4 speeds faster.

Are you lining up your 20 and 40 yard to your dual indicator?

On my dual track sight, my bottom pin won’t go any lower than 35 yards. And my dual indicator won’t go up past 40 yards, even when I swapped them out. Leaving me with no way to use my second pin with the indicator. Do you know a did for this?

@@SandSArchery it’s rolled all the way to the top. This is my second black gold slider sight. But last one was a 3 pin.

I'll take a look at mine and see what I can help with. I don't have it in front of me currently but this afternoon I'll check it out. I know with my setup I was only able to achieve like 11-12 yard difference. between the top and bottom pin.

So is the middle pin actually not really useful then?

I think you can order additional indicators if you want, and there is a 5 pin version. But when using only 2 indicators, You set up your working range (let's say 30-40-50) So when you're in your "default" position, you have a traditional 3 pin set up. If you want to shoot closer ranges or dial in a specific range, you can adjust based on your top indicator. If you want to shoot out past 50, you use the bottom indicator, but can use the other indicators to still give you a working range

It is useful. Bottom the wheel out at 20. And you have 20, 30 and 40 pins without having to move a thing.

Are you still running this set up?

I know Pat used this setup for a year, before switching back to a more simple single indicator setup.
