Thanks Danz, just started tying this year. Had a few on my own patterns and some home tied traditional. Will be trying this one out as well.

Excellent! Thumbs-up from me. Why do Americans keep saying they're going to 'go ahead' . What's wrong with 'now I'll attach my hackle' (or whatever) rather than at every stage saying 'now I'll GO AHEAD and attack my hackle'. It's a very odd corruption within English usage, and it's very recent. Are we really so suggestible that such mannerisms can be so easily adopted? In the UK the young have already been infected with 'like' which is sometimes inserted into sentences several times. I do hope we're not going to GO AHEAD and adopt GO AHEAD into general usage here. Sigh.

Thank you for your comments and observations. I guess it would be a symptom of moving forward, going forward, moving ahead, or next.

On behalf of America, sorry to infect your great country with our language. You can thank us later for automobiles, airplanes, computers, the internet, democracy, and modern medicine.

@@joryhgaming348 English isn't something that belongs to England - it belongs to the world. It's YOUR language too - you own it. I was simply pointing out the the superfluity of incessant ' go aheads'. Poor use of English devalues it for all of us. It's what English speakers offer the world, no matter which country they hail from - it's the great leveller. There was no need to be defensive, or competitive.

Duofold NO ONE appreciates comments like the one you made. Language evolves over time and varies by region. Unless you’re grading someone’s English paper, keep your useless critiques to yourself. Sigh
