Sounds like she wants an immersian blender. Easier and safer to use on hot, creamed soups, etc... don't have to risk a scalding transferring it to a blender/food processor.

You really work at making all the kids feel like they have a family. The iPhones were nice but I would have not given to younger ones. But your the parents so enjoy. I raised 8 kids my total budget for evrrryone was 400 a year. They didn't have new clothes,but shoes and pjs, and we limited gifts to 2 each including stockings, but they enjoyed Christmas anyway. I get ill spending that kind of money on a tree,but it will last till last one leaves home ! Lol For so many kids and shopping with them I'm amazed so good! And hubby and you need more trips to Costco alone just to have fun. Have a very Merry Christmas, and make sure kids don't sleep with phones!

There weren’t any options that fit their beds and she’s been looking for the last few trips so she bought one while she was there for now. Oh boy, my Christmas tree looks like a Charlie Brown tree after seeing yours😆 Thats a beauty and many great, magical memories will be made with it! Long ago, I had that size, decades ago 😲😂but I had to build it and bend each branch before it was stuck in the slots on the pole, took three days to build and worse part? It wasn't pre-lit, eeeeeek, no such thing then! But it was gorgeous and well worth it! I was at a loss filling the blank spaces in the tree so I got Poinsettas, the bunch like for a vase/planter, cut the wires and plucked them straight in! Now, I like to enjoy other peoples big trees, can't wait to see yours decorated! I am so happy you got that one, yay😀😍😊

My parents spends TONS on us kids every Christmas...I am the must frugal adult I know. Making a child happy with gifts DOES NOT mean they will be dysfunctional adults. Get a life and a therapist!

We have the tree from costco also and its amazing!!! Literally takes me only few minutes to put up. Saves so much time

It’s not even a waste as much as it is a safety concern. I cannot imagine these kids having access to devices with TT and KZread and socials. I get you can set parental controls but then what is the point of the phone?! There is I’ll always be a way yo get to the kids, and I work for a large cell provider in the USA and see it all the time.

I know that parents strive to give their children more than they may have had growing up however it appears after seeing many birthday celebrations and last Christmas gifting etc that these kids are substantially overwhelmed by all they receive and it looks like they’re not even appreciative of the expensive gifts etc, when is enough enough🤷🏻‍♀️ They all get spoiled and know that no matter what they ask for 9 times out of 10 they’re gonna get from these folks, it’s crazy to me. I see others comment abt the abundances they receive and there’s folks out here barely feeding their families, IDK what to think and I’m sure I’ll get quite a few people hating on me for saying my opinions but it’s true, there is a lot of waste here from food to clothes to gifting IMO🤷🏻‍♀️

I also am obsessed with the flavored ginger ales from Costco! If you haven't figured it out though, the flavors can vary and its only while supplies last. My favorite besides the plain ol ginger ale is the lemonade ginger-ales! They had the pack with cranberry ginger ales last time I was at Costco and I regret I passed them up but I still had almost half a pack left at home!

Way too young. My boss’ daughter is 11 and she recently got her first phone, the older model, the XR. He said, nothing fancy until she’s 13. He has a point tho.
