This review helped me make my purchase. I just got the same one. It works perfectly. The gentleman’s bug problem must not be bad. I live right by a river so mine is bad. Plugged it in and within 5min got a big ZAP. And it’s been snap crackling and popping. Some bugs are small so you see little flickers of fire. Got it because I have a light right next to my door that attracts all sorts of flying insects in the summer time and they all swarm in as soon as I open the door. This helps a lot.

Replace that bulb with a white bulb same size for the same model you can get them at Menards as well

The 360 zapper works amazing

I got mine about a month ago and my bulb went out a few days ago i put in a new bulb and it was flickering no matter how I put it in and now my whole zapper is kaput. Don't know if i just got a faulty item or what not

I bought the 6000 volt model and I haven't had it a month yet and one of the resistors shorted out and caused one of the 2 capacitors to explode I have the capacitors still trying to figure out what size the resistor is

I just found one at Lowe's on clearance. I was concerned that the green light was blinking. It looked like it was a regular rhythm.

Mines, the smaller version w/ a white light can I…… also use my device outside in the rain ?

I got the 5000 model and it's been on for an hour the bugs are flying all around it but they ain't getting zapped this thing sucks too bad I got it on clearance non returnable

Why do you seem so underwhelm? 😂 there are several bugs on this thing and you didn’t even use the lure so I would say it’s working better than you expected.

You are correct. It's zapped it's fair share of bugs since the review. As a kid in the 70s, my dad's device crackled like bacon with amplified zaps and glorious electrified blue lights of death as it announced to the universe that another bug has lost its wings. This does not do that. But that doesn't mean it not working or not working well. Evidence of its work is more passive when needing to clean it rather than real-time announcement of its work.

Do some research and get one with a uv light

Due to the reviewer's refusal to follow the prescribed directions thoroughly, the product fails to work to its full potential.

It's nothing but junk it only have 1200 volts I tested the same one u have nothing but 1200 volts

I have one just replaced the chemical lure for mosquitos still waiting for the zapping , I have outside lamps filled with bugs with no lure , Any lamps outside will be attracted to light & heat

Did you install the mosquito lure???

I did not. I was waiting until the mosquitoes seemed bad but they never did that season.
