This review is 100% accurate! I just spent $200 for two of these based on reviews. What a fk head I am for believing that a $100 drone (less from Walmart) could be a DJI. I wish this review was at the top of the search. Thanks for the honest review.

General advice for products like this: if you can’t see low reviews on their website, it’s a scam. Straight up

Finally an accurate, honest, informative review. You are absolutely correct about the battery life. One of the three seems to last longer than the other two but the best is 3 minutes. Stable in wind? Nope. Held the joy stick the whole time trying to get it to fly back after a light wind swept it away. It reports to have a follow feature. Nope. It reports to have a state of the art 4K camera. Nope. After 5 flights, one of the props stopped working making take off useless. After several e-mails the customer service people said they would honor their warranty and said they were sending me a new one. Will let you know if I receive it.

3 minutes is quite poor!

I read a long review from a website supposedly ranking drones and this one was #1. It was a believable review. Thanks for some REAL information.

All mine are the same if not just a bit more expensive than your black falcon. I am not surprised that it is junk. On the sales pitch video, many DJI drones are featured, why show clips of other high quality drones to sell theirs. And that video does not allow comments. Thanks for saving people's money on this scam product.

That 5 minutes was in optimal conditions in your garage. I guarantee if you flew in the wind or other natural conditions, your flight time would be even less. I know I fly drones and understand the impacts.. Good luck with your return.. Thx for sharing

You're correct, and that's why I stayed in the controlled environment. Took it outside with 15 mph winds and maybe lasted 3 minutes tops.

I called the NJ distribution company and they gave me 75% back and I kept the drone (haven't flown it since). So, in essence, it's a $25 drone, and I think one could get a better drone for the same price. I appreciate the question as it was answered 5 months ago, and now quite buried in the comments section.

Look into the Potensic Atom or Potensic Atom SE. I have the Potensic Atom SE. Great entry level drone takes good pictures films in 4k30fps, 2.7k30fps, 1080p60fps, has some good intelligent flight features. I get roughly 25-30 mins of battery depending on wind and temperature. It's a solid beginner Drone. Besides that, DJI is the best photography drone in town. You get what you pay for in that regards. I have my eyes set on the DJI mini 4 pro after I get more comfortable flying.

How did you get it to connect to your phone for photos, etc. I have contacted my internet provider and they set my phone to connect to a 2.0 but still could not connect.

Hello, I did not experience challenges connecting with my iPhone 11 - maybe that's a "bright spot" in my case?

Brutal. I got one as a gift and as soon as the drones out of range of the controller it dies! Not due to battery power just disconnects from the controller I think. Anyways it fallen out of the sky twice now, luckily into snow both times

I too wish I had seen this review before purchasing one. I got mine today.....removed it from the package, which fit in the mailbox, BTW...and when I opened it, my first impression was it was nothing more than a toy. A cheap toy. I called the customer support line and talked to someone I could barely understand. He said I'd need to pay for return shipping plus a 15 percent restocking fee. After expressing my disappointment, he offered a 75 percent discount! I figured at least I'd have something and didn't have to mess around with a return, so I kept it. So, I now have a $25 toy.....charging the batteries now. Never had a drone before and I was hopiing this would be a good beginner unit. Lesson learned. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience.

@@jbloir I actually took it to our local park today.....kinda windy, but not terrible. At times, I thought the thing had a mind of its own. And, it never got more than about 25 ft off the ground. One of the blade protectors came off and I found it on my way back to my truck. Cheap toy.

I purchased 1 and had the same experience and then one motor quit on the third flight. I called customer service and they sent me another drone no charge and that one also had a motor quit working on the third flight. If you plan on flying your drone more than fifteen minutes do not wast your money on a Black Falcon Drone. They are not worth the time it takes to get them out of the box.

I cant even get the Drone WIFI to show up on any phone to connect to the drone and use the camera

Yes, I fully agree, the drone has poor mechanical quality, the drone runs mostly not 5 minutes on every battery and the image quality is a joke. It is barley a kids toy. And does not run stable in a slight wind. I try to return it as well and will also write an honest review on my channel.

Nothing so far. Kind of "gun shy" now. I'd guess DJI would be where I look now.

Definitely recommend skydio or dji

Purchased one of these. Completely uncontrollable. Does not respond to anything other than throttle -- sometimes -- (and you get two speeds, stop and zoom away). When you manage to get it airborne it zips away in random directions. Wish I saw this review first. Probably will go with DJI next time.

Hey If you’re just starting to get into drones I suggest you should either get the DJI mini 2 or the DJI mini 4 pro both very good for their prices. If you’re looking for something that can actually get you good video don’t buy anything under 250$

The fact that it keeps moving on its own makes it untrustworthy

I haven't really looked at another. The original purpose was to augment my farm's YT channel (Bloir Family Farms) and with spring here, I've been focused on other issues.

Hovering actually uses more energy than flying.

I've heard that there is a lot of counterfeit falcons.

Well, I had an interesting experience when I called. They offered to refund 75% of the price and I got to keep the unit. Ive not seen the refund so far (3-5 business days they say) so I’ll make a note on what happens. Thanks for the question!

I can see that, and I did order through the "real" company. At the time of purchase some months ago, I couldn't find any other way to order except through the company.

Just go DJI . A little more expensive but you get what you pay for!

All I can say is you get what you pay for. I just got my 1st ever drone, a DJI mini 4 pro and I couldn't be happier. Yes it did cost an arm and the leg but it just works which gives me all the confidence in the world to fly all round the south side of town and as far as the beach and back home. Love the mini 4 🏴‍☠️🚁
