We here at Black Excellist specialize in illuminating the experience and contributions of African-Americans which is the foundation of our channel. We are particularly keen on pointing out the ingenuity, innovation, and creativity of Black Women who have transformed this world in ways that few can believe.
It is essential for the Black Community as well as White America to understand the impact of Black Women pioneers, entrepreneurs, and inventors from our past. Our aspiring grade school student will not read much about these women in the history books, so we hope you take the time to celebrate these trailblazers who may inspire them and help propel their dreams forward.

The Clothes Wringer alone was a key house hold item for hygiene. But the main Central Heating item for home warming systems, really takes the prize.

I am so glad that we're learning more about black people the world is a better place because of black
I am happy to see a Documentary like this. One correction: The picture for Marie Van Brittan Brown is actually Bessie Blount Griffin, another inventor, forensic scientist, nurse, reporter, and also my grandmother. Please correct.
I LOVE Black Excellence. It about time that the world know that a lot of inventions are by our people. And most products enjoyed by today's people white and Black is by our Genius.
Wow,absolutely blown away! My inventions, are being stolen,as we speak,by you know who! Even today,it’s still happening!😮
Wow! I am blown away. The whole thing is good, but the clothes wringer and the natural gas central heating... OMG! Thanks so much for this. It just goes to show, all those people saying we don't need Black History Month. No, we really do. Until we start to learn about these things in everyday history we need to be keeping one another informed.
Women are wonderful ❤️
I am one of the family of the black people. I only came to know about this marvelous history of the discovery of so many beautiful creations which is a great massage of our black Americans discoverey. God bless them.

The power of black woman ♠️✊🔥🍾
I can’t pick from anyone of these intelligent women that a movie about their lives shouldn’t be made. All these women’s lives should be brought to the big screen. Also, during African-American History month in February, more stories like these should be brought to light 💡. Thank you 🙏 for this very enlightening story. Keep them coming
Even as a Trinidadian woman living in London, I can appreciate the power of this video and how it will resonate with so many!! Thanks for giving a voice and a stage to great women who should have been in the history books!!

We should always empower people based on gender and skin color =) Its the best.
How magnificent to learn about these exceptional black women. America needs all the help it can get. We have to cultivate and utilize the talents of all of our citizens, regardless of the color of their faces.
There are so many Black Women inventors that have gotten their ideas stolen🤬 Me included😤...Great Video 🔥

And men, more Inventions than Blacks could could ever imagine. The White Man stole and hid Black progress in America. That is why they never thought Black History in Schools. So many of the things we enjoy today, US and around the World, are the "Products of Black Invention". Who would know, when we are branded as Lazy and Criminals. When we were in Chains, who were the Criminals, we were taught well. That what Racism is, a learned experience. Children when they are born, have no care about what Color they are until they were thought that they were different, that they were the Superior Race. It is sad that all of these Historical Buildings in America, was built by the "Sweat and Blood of the Black Man." No Recognition of their worth. We are are Sad Country. That's why we are falling apart. To all the Black Inventors that made life easier for mankind two Thumbs up. Rest in peace and love.

BLACK GIRL MAGIC
Thank you Black Woman... Peace Goddess! ~ *)
Many unfortunate things and circumstances happened to our ancestors and their inventions. That is so outrageous.
I remember the hot iron comb. I have two, one for the stove and one that is electric. I no longer use either of them. We went from hot combs to straighteners. Our hair suffered a lot of damage throughout the years. Now, we no longer have to torture our hair. Burnt hair and burnt scalps.
B Smith well said. What's their problem with thumbs down. Our women and men have been Inventors for centuries. Even during slavery which we were not given credit for. Go figure. Keep it up brothers and sisters. Don't let others negativity stop the process. Peace.
It does make the inventions of the jet engine, penicillin, the steam engine, powered flight pale into significance.
BLACK POWER MELINATED QUEENS
Women are awesome!!!!😊 Guys are intimidated by smart women, I LOVE them!
THANK U VERY IMPORTANT
Had no idea! These women were boss!
This is incredible these black women need more exposure even movies made about them.
Thanks for the inventors update.
Regarding: Alice Parker No.9 (Newman) remained at the bottom of the screen instead of no.10, Alice Parker. Thanks for this informative video.
Wow Powerful Video. There are so much people don't know about Black Women who invented things and they never get credit for their Inventions. They will be no more of that Knowledge is Power. They were doing this through slavery some couldn't read or write ,but still got through that's GOD right there. Children don't know the half. The Media and Congress should fight for the release of These Powerful inventors and stop trying to Downplay our Gifts and Talents so much Jealousy and Envy
Thank you!
It just break my heart that we as black peoples still have NOT came together YET!!!

After 500 years of being Enslaved & transported to MANY LOCATIONS, then eventually FREED in 1863 only to understand that OUR GOVERNMENT declared that Black People were 3/5ths of a HUMAN BEING, thereby NOT able to benefit from the FULL RIGHTS of a human being in America!🇺🇸 Then having; Lynchings, Jim Crow, Housing Red Lining, Forced to live in Ghettos, UNJUST Prison sentences, Poor schooling & SO MUCH MORE thrusted on our backs & STILL CURRENTLY dealing with in your face RACISM from the Police & PUNK ASS White Supremacists!!! Please understand, that it’s going to take a little more time for US TO BE MADE WHOLE!!! And because WORDS HAVE POWER, I would like to ENCOURAGE You to STOP SAYING: “BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT STICK TOGETHER” & begin to DECLARE THAT “WE DO”……BECAUSE THE MAJORITY OF US REALLY DO! Respect 🫡

I'm not sure what black people you are referring to. FBA has historically come together throughout history only to be annihilated. So you must be referring to these foreigners

I've enjoyed this video and shall be sharing with others. Not sure if this was noted since launch of this educational feature, but the 10th female inventor being reviewed has the 9th inventor's name and description at base of video. This item was launched last October, but could be redone & uploaded thereby allowing this current error item to be deleted. Thank you, again!
