Yeah I'm crafting a second 7 set before I go back into upgrading my umbral gear. In the process I discovered that unlocking the last slot by converting it to 8 seems to unlock it for all of your chaos gear of the same type. I finished main and sub weapons on my main and the slot is unlocked on all of my level 6 and 7 chaos gear for my other characters.

So if i got an +8 chaos i need to failed him to +7 and THEN do the ambral one? I came back and i am totally lost

I wish I had a surplus of restoration I could blow on severing chaos to get +8, but I'd rather save that for other gear I'd like to upgrade first. My tally as of now is: +7 Chaos Gear (Base Severing) +6 Chaos Accessories PRI Sushi Stone (Critical Enhanced) +20 Primal Totem (Socketed 3x +6 abyssal totems) +19 Chaos Emblem (Season 10) +5 and +3 Primal Relics (Aal and Serrett, I think.) That's good right?
