i wish we had more people with this attitude whenever talking about big cities, we need to support each other in times like this, but seeing comments that demean an entire city because of what a portion of the people did to it is disheartening. In reality cities have multiple different voter bases and demographics, not a lot of people who grew up in rural communities their entire lives get it. People complain about the United states being split but then they’re quick as hell to follow right in those footsteps the first opportunity they get.

i get what you’re saying but people should be able to criticize and also go against the political party they once supported. A lot of people dont get this because they dont teach anyone how to be nuanced when it comes to politics. They view everything as a “red team vs blue team” instead of what SHOULD be a government working together despite differences. Not everyone knows 100% what they’re voting for or agreeing to, in a perfect world they would but thats the reality.
