Very special project. What I really appreciate is that it seems like a purely artistic endeavor that they’re doing because they want to. Not even a bad song yet in their entire catalog in my opinion. I doubt many super groups like this make it to three albums never mind 5.

He was not part of any major band for any of their truly memorable years. His time with Deep Purple and Sabbath didn't coincide with any of their stuff that they're actually known for. Even calling him a rock demi-god is a stretch.

Dead Daisies was literally built to be a band for rockers to fill space between other projects. That’s why they’ve had so many lineup changes.

Я бы тоже так поступил. Понятное дело, что видео с живого выступления, но можно было кадры подобрать, чтобы игра Гленна и Джо не так явно не стыковалась с фонограммой. Дерека вообще мало.

@@doctordoris Привет! Слушай, ну я не настолько погружён в их творчество, чтобы судить о каждом. Старину Хьюза услышал примерно в 1983-м, когда выменял на толкучке пластинку Deep Purple - Burn. На мой взгляд, наряду с Machine Head - это лучший альбом группы. Бонамассу расчухал только пару-тойку лет назад, когда скачал его дискографию. Black Country Communion знаю пока преимущественно по Ютуб в силу наличия там собственно Джо После твоего комментария глянул на состав. Увидел там знакомую дирижаблевскую фамилию, чего с 80-го года не могло быть а принципе. Выяснилось, что это даже не однофамилец, а сын. Занятно.

С примерно с середины 70-х в теме мне тогда лет 13-15 было. Скажу честно кроме 90-х не до рока, сама жизнь была по хлеще heavy metall а с нулевых все в поряде. Всем приятного просмотра прослушивания.

​​@@veshugnet , у меня меломания началась, можно сказать, с песен "Burn" и "Sail Away", которые были приписками на катушке у старшей сестры (надо добавить, что там основными записями были Битлы - сборник с первого их альбома и с "Rubber Soul"на одной стороне, а на другой - SWEET "Fanny Adams") Но это картины не меняет - песни Дипов меня цепанули тогда, в пятом классе учился. Так что с середины семидесятых сижу на рок-музыке. Да и вообще на музыке. Про Джо из инета узнал тоже не так давно. А про младшего Бонэма в начале девяностых, когда попался его первый альбом на толкучке в Чкаловске. Дерека Шериняна ещё со времён его участия в DREAM THEATER знаю. Все классные и невероятно крутые.

@@doctordoris В принципе у меня история похожая. С рок,н,роллом году так в 1978-м, когда мне лет 11 было, я сначала визуальный контакт наладил. У моего двоюродного брата, который старше меня на 7 лет, в квартире на Орджоникидзе кильдым был, где ч\б фотки висели весьма посредственного, признаться, качества. Как сейчас помню, фото с пластинок Beatles - Let It Be, как раз SWEET - "Fanny Adams" и Slade - "Slayed?"," In Flame" и "Nobody's Fools", гибкие пластинки из "Кругозора" и миньон группы SWEET фирмы "Мелодия" (как ни странно) с тремя абсолютно идиотскими песнями из их раннего творчества. Помню одну - Chop Chop называется. Я не могу объяснить, чем эти позорные фотки меня так зацепили, но я спинным мозгом почувствовал, что это невероятно круто. Потом на бабинах Manfred Mann - "Angel Station" и Pink Floyd - "The Dark Side of the Moon" услышал и моё увлечение длиною в жизнь оказалось предопределено и могло только с алкоголем, наверное, посоревноваться ((. С начала 80-х каждое воскресенье на толкучке как штык! На протяжении лет 13-ти и за минусом 2-х лет армии. Содержимое пластинок переписывалось на многочисленные, исчисляемые сотнями, кассеты, обложки перерисовывались вручную в специальные тетради с указанием серийных номеров, тиража и прочей, никому не нужной информации. Потом сборища меломанов в ДК им. Козицкого, с которыми я вынужденно завязал после устройства на работу и переезда меломанов в Дом Учителя (если не ошибаюсь). С алкоголем в силу определённых причин со временем тоже пришлось подзавязать, а вот "Песня остаётся с человеком" до сих пор. Спасибо, что заставил вспомнить и поностальгировать.
