Hopefully the anime returns seasonally with this kind of animation. And I hope to God it doesn't become a Netflix anime like what happened with JoJo. I'm also surprised to have seen certain things in this movie due to it taking place in the six months timeskip. On a side note, kinda happy to see you guys reacting to the English Dub since it's one of my favorites ones alongside FMAB, Fairy Tail, MHA, etc... (I also weirdly enough like the One Piece dub ever since it returned from hiatus back in 2020).

The author said its plan to end arc in black clover in 2024 Mid-June it can't be done due to some reasons behind it he wants the novel and manga series adaptation first to it has not happened in 2021 so he goes fr movies fr this novel and series. And a novel Yuki Tabata originally wanted to write it but wasn’t able to so it gets adapted into the film. The imperial sword needs to store magic, assuming it could store anti magic, he would still have to actually add it to the sword and store it, so the large amounts of power it had was due to the other wizard kings, I believe. So it would have taken him years probably

It would be kinda useless tho. The whole point of that sword is that it absorbs magic and spits it out. The Anti Magic would mess with that.

The movie was soo good, now the wait for more episodes is gonna be even more brutal xD

So the difference between filler and anime canon is filler is non canon material created by the studio, without story input or approval from the author, that contradicts the manga, and only exists in order to buy time for the manga to get ahead Anime canon is material created specifically for the anime with the author’s input and full approval, which covers events mentioned but not shown in the manga, or tells a story the author wanted to include in the manga, but wasn’t able to. It’s optional material that exists to enhance and add to the manga material, has the full support of the author, has the potential to be referenced in future manga chapters, and often has some type of tie in media A good example of anime canon is the time skip arc in the black clover anime. Tabata himself was brought in to tell staff this is what happened during the time skip and to help them write the stories. With Tabata himself saying he was taking the opportunity to tell readers this is what happened during the time skip and that he may reference these events in future manga chapters. It adds to the story, but isn’t necessary to follow/understand the story As for why the term is being used more frequently. It used to be that rather than go on a break a studio would make filler to keep the audience interested until the manga could get ahead and they could start making canon episodes again. However now anime is mostly seasonal, so studios have turned to anime canon in order to, extend seasons by covering material the manga skipped, and to make movies about what happened in between seasons. ⁠@@Raion9813 It still isn’t canon because the vice captain of the black bulls appears and Asta gets his demon arm which he doesn’t get in the anime until episode 167 or 168 which is permanent while in this his arm goes back to normal and on top of that you see Liebe for the first time which you don’t see until episode 169 or 170 in the anime.

Oh yeah Asta could have very well become like Conrad. They're very similar and they showcased very well parrarels between them. Conrad is one of the best Black Clover's antagonist in a sense that I can actually symphatize with him. It's not evil for being evil - there was a noble cause and strong reason for that but the method of executing that goal was wrong.

This movie was great

I mean, Yami is voiced by The Goat Chris Sabat, so of course his lines would be the best delivered even if it's 1 line and the least amount of everyone in that 1 scene. Also, it's obvious that this was placed before the Spade Kingdome shit. Even way before Dante capturing Yami since 1. Yami is there and 2. Asta's arm is still in tact and 3. There's no pact yet between Liebe and Asta. On another note, I LOVE Princia. The Legion girl. Like from the opening scene. She was HER. And her magic is so cool too! AND she can still box without her legions. She's so op.

⁠@@flixytip4571 totally agree on that. There are so few people that watch the dubbed versions of anime so it’s just fun to see someone do it. Especially good dubs like Black Clover is in my opinion

Since when in a my hero movie did old number 1 heros get resurrected and all the heros ACTUALLY showed team work to beat them Cause none of the 3 movies showed that😅

It isn’t canon because the vice captain of the black bulls appears and Asta gets his demon arm which he doesn’t get in the anime until episode 167 or 168 which is permanent while in this his arm goes back to normal and on top of that you see Liebe for the first time which you don’t see until episode 169 or 170 in the anime.

That doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t canon tho. Nacht and Liebe were just meant to be a little Easter egg for the audience, the characters don’t know about them yet but we do and the arm here isnt permanent unlike in the anime

This movie is canon this takes place days before the spade arc
