Yes I love black bellied pangolin/long tailed pangolin because of their long tail!

I love how it quickly curls up then peeks out like 'am I being attacked? No? Ok then'

Pangolin: **lunges at person but doesn’t actually attack** Person: **flinches away** Pangolin: “YEAH THATS WHAT I THOUGHT. YOU BETTER STAY AWAY OR YOU GONNA GET MAN!”

Thanks for the support. I will be more careful to add details in future, I had no idea how small minded some people are. He is one of over 70 we have rescued in the last 3 years.

the different species have different proportions, this is one of the longer african pangolins, i believe. 8 different species.

saludos desde Argentina!!!! es un bello animal, me encantaría algún día ver o acariciar cualquier especie de pangolin!! son tan raros hermosos, es una lástima que la gente siga siendo tan estúpida como para comerlos, matarlos o considerarlos feos!!!! son bellos, repetiría esa palabra mil veces, que Dios te bendiga por proteger a ese indefenso animal!!! por cierto los movimientos del pangolin se deben a mecanismos de defensa, es como si tratara de protegerse y ante la mínima señal de peligro se enrosca, esa gente idiota que dice que está drogado por lo menos debería leer sobre pangolines!!!!!

most endangered wild species in the world, in Indian it is protected under wildlife protection act 1972 SCHEDULE 1, as equal to Lions and tigers.. In our Gir forest India many pangolins are there but ppl are not so aware about it's nature. Though pangolins are much more safe in this forest area than anywhere else.

Yes he is very stressed, and this is his defensive behaviour after being traumatised during capture by Illegal bush meat traders. Thankfully we got to him before he was sold to dealers and ended up in a cooking pot.
