Patrick, when I watched this in your long version I thought to myself holy cow! Way narrow and I would not want to be right there at that point. Thanks for going through on the 31st, that path looks way different after the Jeeps start running through and grinding it down!

I could see no passings of black bears in this video. Very disappointed.

This might be the first video that truly shows how treacherous road is and how steep.

I could not be paid enough money to drive a jeep down this road. It used to be better. I was here 2 years ago and it was not nearly as eroded.

Great video! Thanks! I don’t think I’ll be hitting that in my Xterra this year even if it does open to vehicles. It looks like it needs a good volunteer clean up.

At what part of the video did he pass the black bear?

It's a trail, I'd assume. In the description, it states, "Going over black bear pass." But I could be wrong.

It's skidding all the time. You can hear the rear wheel sliding at times - you have to listen and know what you're listening for, but it's definitely happening. The front is less obvious, but yeah, it's moving and sliding over the rocks constantly. You learn to manage it. Mostly by overdoing the brakes and having it start to get away from you, and thus learning the limits.

Yes. On the eastern side, going back toward the highway. And a few up by the blocking snowdrift, contemplating their life choices. Pretty sure they turned back too. I was all alone from the snowdrift down to the falls.

Great video, but was anyone else waiting to see a black bear? Made this extremely suspenseful I'll say that

Nice ride ..better technique...please mention basic details like bike name place name in description...and speak some...this ride will attract minimum 100000 off road bike enthusiasts globally...how itchy boots hype a wide gravel road look like she is riding on mount Everest.. It was much much better... please give little more effort on your vlogging... please take it as an innocent feedback... anyways iam following you

Glad you made it, and I am sure the memory of success feels very rewarding, but I have seen videos like this where someone lost their bike. Don't do it folks, no experience and no bragging rights are worth the risk.
