This was interesting. Their stories are so sad but encouraging at the same time. So many people live with HIV and can lead a healthy life however, I don’t think this episode did a good job at tackling the entire silent epidemic. There was only one mention of “straight men” sleeping with men that don’t consider themselves gay. That is a huge reason a lot of straight black women have contacted HIV from DL men. That is a reality that seems to always be understated when it comes to this topic. It does a HUGE disservice to the entire black community to not speak about this very real reality!

We women are the gatekeepers. Men only behave the way we allow them to, and/or raise them to do! If we massively raised our standards and agreed to demand respect, commitment, protection and provision before allowing them around us, everybody would be better off!

I wonder why personal responsibility is never included in these type of shows. Personal situations big pharma, food giants, weapon makers etc. all get the blame. Parents, average Joe's, grown adults make personal choices to do a, b & c. Pathetic & risky.

Yours is the most asinine response I've ever seen. Race, like gender has to be discussed, because there are different genelogical issues based on ethicity that need to be addressed. Just because you're sensitive to race and ethnicity doesn't mean there aren't valid and relevant issues where they need to be invoked.

Don’t worry though we will always need someone to make our food. I wish I could tell you some things to open your eyes but unfortunately you’re already a lost cause. But keep believing race and gender should be at the forefront of our problems 🤣😂🤣😂
