BKS 800 Arrangement of Cable Pushers and Cable Pulling Winch RKW 5 with Static Pulling System

For the qualification at the cable producer Nexans a 150 kV cable, which is coated with fibre optic cables had to be guided around two 180° and one 90° corner. The maximum lateral pressure at the coating is not allowed to exeed 150 kg. To ensure a constant pulling a combination of a Bagela arrangement of synchronised electric cable pushers and a Bagela Cable pulling winch with Static-Pull System was used.
This system ensures a constant initial tension independent to the speed of the cable pushers.
The process of pulling is recorded by the winch.

    The max. pushig force the BKS 800 could apply is 800 kg per pusher. You can install up to 10 pusher in one arrangement

    @@bagelabaumaschinen8562 Thank you very much for your prompt response. With up to 8000kg pushing force on begining of pulling section, route configuartaion is almost not determining factor in section length (but cable drum size/capacity). It sounds like excellent solution. Thanks again.

    Sorry it is only 800 kg per unit and up to 10 units could be connected

    @@bagelabaumaschinen8562 Yes. That's why i wrote 8000kg (10 units x 800kg).
