What the hell were the commentators talking about? Murray clearly pushed Guzman into the ropes and that caused his knee to go. That wasn’t a knockdown. They said the rule was “incident if the fight by knockdown”. Garbage decision there.

Most cases of CTE have occurred in athletes with mild repetitive brain trauma over an extended period of time. Football players suffer more from CTE than boxers. Boxers only fight about two to three times a year, where as football players now play at least 17 games a year, with only a week rest in between each game.

@@Volksgenossen Fighting two to three times a year is still a lot considering the number of blows these guys are taking to the head during not only their matches, but also sparring sessions. Any blow to the head is not good at all. Maybe one day all professional fighting will be done through the use of VR.
