Thought I'd get a board I could grow into and got the type r as my first electric skateboard. It's crazy fun, and got so much power it just eats hills with the 6 inch pneumatic tires

*good stuff dude* i wish you showed some footage/photos of what it looks like brand new all put together.. I’m diggen the new design too.. i just don’t think a boosted style deck mixes well with performance parts,, When u have higher performance, its good to have an aggressive drop down and good concave.. it seems like that has little to none... looking forward to the review 😎 👍

Flexy deck is definitely different and took me a bit to get used to it again after having ridden only stiff drops for a while now. After a few miles you start to really lay into the flex and it's pretty fun to rebound off it while carving. Love all the options we have.

@@ELECTRIC-DNA oh for sure. i love flex. u jus dont like how boosted style decks dont have much convave and no drop down.. especially a board with this power

@@esk8unity What do you think about putting a Newbee or Rogers Bros footsteps on the front and back of the board then? I imagine that would alleviate some of the foot-slipping concerns, or do you think otherwise? As far as I can tell this board seems to have the same quality of battery cells of the meepo hurricane, but with a better ESC and more Watt-hours so it seems like something worth looking into. Hell, the only board within its price range I have seen with more Wh is the B-One Titan, and that one is 13s4p which I heard isn't an ideal setup and doesn't have the xenith vesc.

@@TrueToRealitity i mean deck, footstops, settings is all personal preference. i took off my newbee footstops right away. i didnt like it. i move my stance around a lot.. i wanna be placed in , not trapped. yea quality cells is important. not so much the size. BUT, if u cant utilize those quality cells and esc, whats the point.. but everyone has there own preference
the wiring part in the end is so confusing
