Thanks for your watching, I am preparing a series video about the PID control via TwinCAT 3, within the palylist, it will show how to program the analog scale and unscale, as well as signal curve and PID control. Very useful videos -thanks. I'm familiar with Allen Bradley and Automationdirect PLCs and was looking for instructional videos on Beckhoff to switch to Beckhoff PLCs. Please post examples of PID controls, ramp-soak, etc.

Thanks for video. I can't figure out about var variables. Static variable - saves value, temp - losts value. What is special in var variable?

The variables under VAR within a PRG or FB, they are local variables, used just within this PRG or FB. They are the temp variable and its default value is not '0', it is random. don't forget set initial value for them.

@@Alex-pz7kr The instance of a function block can be declared at the GVL global page, or the VAR of another Function Block

Hi is there any way to automatically change a structure text into ladder if there there isn't in twincat is there any other software? Thank you

I don't think some software can do it.

Have you assigned the CPU core for your PLC. make sure you are using Intel CPU in your computer.

Hi can you please explain the encoder EL5151 configuration , also how to reset the encoder pulse value

I haven't got a channel to use EL5151, but I used EL5021SinCos encoder interface, these modals should be similar idea. I could make a video talking about the offline setting and programming of them. What is your current problem on EL5151, when you would have chance to get the hardware

​@@akshaykumarpatil6583 I didn't find the screenshot,. You can connect variable at "Set Counter" BOOL and "Set Counter Value" UDINT, then trigger the BOOl set counter to reset a value to the counter. I will make a short video about the using counter modual soon
