BJWRR Steam + Cab Ride in 1080p HD (12 minutes) Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad
Watch 106 year old Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad steam engine #2 run through Oak Meadow and Vasona parks in Los Gatos, California (southern San Francisco Bay Area). It's shown on the "road", coming into the station, on the turntable, coupling onto the cars and then an entire track cab ride, all in HD. (you may have to adjust the resolution to 720p or 1080p instead of 360p or 480p)

The BJWRR is really special amongst park railways, because it is more than just an amusement ride. The railway is a true educational experience. It demonstrates accurately the operation of full size railways, which many park railways do not. The BJWRR operates with authentic whistle signals and hand signals. The trains operate with authentic automatic "fail safe" air brakes and knuckle couplers. Every trip demonstrates the task of coupling a locomotive to the train and testing the air brakes, as well as the operation of a turntable and the watering of the locomotive. Many other park rides are just glorified lawn tractors masquerading as trains.
glad to see the engineer is using White Mule 229 gauntlet gloves. the best choice for railroad gauntlet gloves to use on steam.
That's Tony Hoffman at the throttle. He's also the cook for the volunteers on Tuesdays, operating the BBQ in the back area of the shop to make burgers and hotdogs.
