That explains why Anthony Smith was having such a hard time. He was fighting against a corn-fed country wrestler, LOL. The grappling strength is real!

Zia PSP Not only was he corn-fed, but he was competitive AND likely on crystal meth. In other words, Anthony Smith was fighting the white Jon Jones.

This is why I laugh at people who say "I don't need a gun." Anthony Smith is lucky it wasn't 4 of those guys with murderous intentions or his family would be gone. He's a trained fighter and could barely subdue just one. Check your egos and quit leaving your safety up to someone else.

That knife defense does not work. You're going to get cut against a guy with a knife no matter what you do because is very hard to trap a punch, you'll miss a couple of time trying to grab it and every time you miss you'll get cut. I know that by real and unfortunate experience.

I think if you expect to take a knife from a skilled opponent, you're most likely going to bleed to death. To have a shred of a chance you had to train knife defenses constantly which is not impossible but more or less totally impractical. What makes more sense in my opinion is to train to defend basic nut job knife attacks (there's about 4). Of course YMMV. You had never seen this? kzread.info/dash/bejne/do17t9GTqa3ZYZs.html

Depends. Keenan seems to better understand knife defense than most "self defense" experts out there. I get your point though. Rickson is teaching untested techniques. Really goes against the reason BJJ has been successful.
