Mate, absolutely love what you are doing, thanks so much for making these videos. I'm about to tackle some rust on my 1974 FJ40, and videos like these give me the confidence I need. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see yours finished.

Pls more videos! This was one of my favorite landcruiser restoration videos and I watch a lot of them! Pls keep them coming even if they are just bite sized vids on fixing one small thing…. Say a door bottom…. Or a vid describing what u did on a prior repair, like the lower grill…. Have u had to do any chassis repairs? A voice Over on that process would be cool too…. I’m a huge and instant fan because u are teaching us how to tackle this stuff with simple tools…. Subbed

It’s interesting that your fenders don’t a bottom 1inch lip that rolls under into the wheel well. That’s what gives me heartache.

Nice job! I’m doing some similar repairs to Bj42. Handy having something to do during lockdown. What brand are the wheel jacks?

Thanks mate! Goodluck with your repairs! Bit of time and patience and you will smash it out! Great for lockdown. Im unsure of the wheel jacks brand unfortunately but you can buy them at any automotive shop.

Hey, I haven't uploaded any videos of painting the 40. Mainly because the process took me about 5 months, but in the future I will do a walk around and explain the whole painting process I used.

Why you didn’t just bought new fenders?

I’ll respond… because it’s satisfying to bring something back to life from the dead. Yes new fenders are quicker, but many restorationers enjoy the process.
