First discovered this song through Spider-Man 2. This song is my childhood and brings me so much nostalgia. I have always been a diehard Marvel Comics and BJ fan as well… And over the years, when I had first watched Guardians Of The Galaxy and heard Hooked On A Feeling play, it made me feel really happy with tears of joy. It became a full circle. This song has gotten me through some very difficult times in my life, and of course the Spider-Man 2 film as well. I wanna thank you BJ, for all of the fond memories and nostalgia. Just found out that he passed today (5/29/2021). I grew up with songs like this! My condolences and prayers go out to his loved ones! I know he became a man of faith in his later years. The most important thing while living on this side of heaven is to surrender to and serve the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He only can bring forgiveness of past sins and eternal hope after we leave this earth!

I spent new years alone because I got tested positive for covid the day before. Instead of seeing my friends and girlfriend during my break, I had to isolate from those I missed dearly. It's especially painful as I live across the ocean from them. The 31st I was depressed. I started to get myself back together. Today my girlfriend broke up with me because long distance wasn't working out, with how little we could actually see each other. Feels like I dropped into another void. I never knew I could be in this much emotional pain. One day I'll be able to be free again and not worry despite the raindrops that keep falling on my head. Everyone, I wish you all the best for this new year, despite all the pain that may make a good year seem impossible. This song has been my rock these past days. Cheers.

I woke up out of a coma after a week back in 2007 and I remember when I woke up my family was all around me and I was just so sad of thinking of what I was doing to them and myself. Later that night I was going threw some things friends and family had bought me while I was there and I came across a duck and I squeeze the toe and this song came on. it was from my sister Dianna, and I cried and promised myself and them right then that it was over and it has been. 2004. My old man playing this on Christmas morning when I just unwrapped my new DVD player and Spider-Man 2 DVD, during the first heavy snowfall my hometown had seen in 100+ years. ICONIC. I miss that time....

Great song. It is the way you handle things when situations go wrong. If you try to keep a positive attitude it makes life much nicer even when things seem to be not going the way you want them to.

Truly, one of my all-time favorite songs. As a Christian and a follower of our Lord God Jesus Christ, I'm reminded that, although the storms do come and toss me about in life from time to time, and as they try to bring discouragment, etc., His faithful hand and presence is with me every step of the day! There is joy in the morning! Bring on the rain...I'll just sing praises to Jesus through it all!

I remember my mom singing this song when I was little and hearing it on Spiderman! I heard it again when i got older and started to tear up :')) Now this plays in my head whenever I start to feel stressed out or sad. And this song paired with these old memes man, ultimate nostalgia right here

This song represents my child hood, My grandma had a bear that played this song and danced a little. I remember always going over when I was 3 and up and playing it hearing rain drops keep falling on my head. I swear I'm so glad I can here this song. I'm 15 now and this song is just so nostalgic. Where did the times go

You who reading this, may or may not believe but, it is a true story! My #2 son, Jon did not choose to speak much, but loved music as his parents! Music constantly, not trash, he would him as a baby. This song was on all the charts, for music and BJThomas, was spoken about, all the time. One day, his Dad, George was holding him, out of the clear blue sky, Jon started singing this song. Every word and perfect melody and pitch, Raindrops! He was 13 months old! As God, is my witness! He has not stop singing, yet! Beautiful voice!! His dream, to sing in the public venue! I hope so..He has perfect pitch! I am always amazed and enjoy, his serenades!! A true story! His Dad, loved to listen to him! A joy!
