Like how we are enjoying Björk so much, you could leave a positive comment under music you enjoy instead of wasting time on a comment section of misic you dont like anyway and which we love. I'm a little uncertain on if we'll get Hyperballad purely based on how it's video came to be. The whole thing was done by screwing with the timing of a single roll of film before they transferred it to tape. If she still has the film then HD is doable. If just the tape. It won't happen.

This is perhaps one of my favourite Bjork tunes- I was among the first to buy her Human Emotion LP when she first aired on MTV. She also did great work with Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. She is an all around great artist, movie actress, film producer, and digital artist extrodinaire. If she were the world's best basketball player they would use the term that she is amphibious- which is a fancy word meaning that you shoot equally well with your left hand as your right hand.

Even after 20 years, I adore this video. It´s like a visualisation of getting overwhelmed by your totem animal as a predator/hunter on a personal and erotic level as well as a wider interpretation that sees the polar bear as a symbol for the land, the weather conditions, the general climate of Iceland. Björk literally channeling her "icelandishness", putting it in front of the world. Strong video that still sends shivers down my spine although I´d really wish for a version of this video done with today´s CGI power.

I think she was thinking about Ricardo López. López developed an obsession with her, and made a video diary musing about Björk and other topics at his apartment in Florida. On September 12, 1996, he mailed a letter bomb rigged with sulfuric acid to her residence in London, then returned home and filmed his suicide. He shaved his head in the video. After López's suicide, Björk said in a statement that she was "very distressed" by the incident. She sent a card and flowers to López's family. Björk left London for Spain, where she recorded her album Homogenic.

She is one of the best creature of this world. I love her so much.
Could believe this MV was released in 1997? I can’t hardly imagine the fact .Bjork is always ahead of time
I was not a Björk fan when i was younger but as i got older i really started to appreciate her original style, she definitely was way ahead of her time in all aspects! 🧙🏻♂️⚡️
My favorite Björk video of all😌
1997 Still so fresh, BJÖRK knows how to make a memorable experience. How Scandinavian of her. Always so ahead of time

This video was inspired by the person stalking her during the making of this album. He tried to kill her by mailing an acid bomb. He also committed suicide to "be with her" in the after life. He was absolutely obsessed with her and quite crazy. He also video taped him self all the time. On the day he killed him self he shaved him self bald and listened to Bjork and he was making the same head movements as her in this video. It's pretty interesting. This song came out as a single and it's called hunter because he was the stalker literally trying to murder her.
I was just noticing how this video aged so well. Even in comparison with her recent visuals, such as Utopia or The Gate, it looks amazing, and it actually has a lot in common with the transparency and prism-like colors.
I remember her when she released HUMAN BEHAVIOR on MTV. Decades ago.....love BJORK FOREVER
i love björk i wish she was real
I was a baby (1995) when I first saw this video. I remembered it and I’ve been listening to Bjork since then lol thanks mom. ♥️
Her Lyrical Content and Artistic expression is phenomenal
Her acting is actually brillant
"[Verse 1] If travel is searching And home what's been found I'm not stopping [Chorus] I'm going hunting I'm the hunter I'll bring back the goods But I don't know when [Bridge] I thought I could organise freedom How Scandinavian of me You sussed it out, didn't you? [Verse 2] You could smell it So you left me on my own To complete the mission Now I'm leaving it all behind [Chorus] I'm going hunting I'm the hunter I'm the hunter I'm going hunting I'm the hunter I'm the hunter I'm the hunter I'm the hunter I'm the hunter (You just didn't know me) (You just didn't know me)"

i love björk so much 😭😭 her music resonates with my soul
Dancer in the dark is when I first heard her magical voice and brilliant acting..still a huge fan.
Eerie similarities between this music video and her stalker’s suicide tape.

(You could smell me so you left me on my own to complete the mission and now im leaving it all behined) that along with the head movements and the fact that shes bald and shirtless. This whole situation is just so fucking crazy omg.
This is what I envisioned music to be by 2020. To give this energy.

Bjork snatched her own wig when she made homogenic
This was my first song that introduced me to Bjork. I remember this song was part of the soundtrack of the X-Files movie in 1998, which was my fav tv series back then. Been fan of Bjork ever since.
This is art in its greatest form. What most of people have considered weird at the time is now proof of how a genius mind made art ahead of its time.

Even bald she's so freaking beautiful. Also mark bell on electronics. Slaps.
This still feels like it's from hundreds of years into the future
everything about this is genius, altho the fact it fades out before the outro of the full length track is a crime. those short video slots in 90s mtv!
😭 yoo i was just looking at the other HD versions this morning, and then this pops up today. I now have hope Hyperballad is on dee wei. I want a Wanderlust 4K, lol. I wish there was a video for Unison.

I'm a little uncertain on if we'll get Hyperballad purely based on how it's video came to be. The whole thing was done by screwing with the timing of a single roll of film before they transferred it to tape. If she still has the film then HD is doable. If just the tape. It won't happen.
She is so other worldly beautiful. I have the urge to meet this person, as if my journey through life wouldnt be completed without meeting her.
Imagine being this awesome and iconic at the same time? Only Björk can accomplish this.

Not a single day I don't fall more in LOVE with Bjork and her style - past, present and future!
Brilliant, in the major art of poetry, which is "saying as much as possible with the less words possible". You're "Queen of the Congo", Björk: Whatever your sex, your country, your colour, your breed, your religion !
Can’t think of any other artist who’s updating their catalogue. This is such a treat.
This is my "I have on headphones on and my footsteps are crunching across the icy snow of a Chicago park as I walk to work" song.
RIP Mark Bell, one of his best pop productions.
