I don't think people realize that Bjork knows 100% what she's doing here when she says funny shit. Bjork is actually ridiculously smart and she'd been dealing with reporters for over a decade at this point. When she says "we don't have things like golf, squash, or stamp collecting," she's aware that it's funny, and she's aware that people will think she's just being naiive.

Exactly, she runs circles around people by pretending to "play along" with them. She also doesn't do this in a rude or pretentious way but in a cutesy, elfin way, which people expect stereotypically. She kind of brilliantly exploits her stereotype, while exploiting all stereotypes at the same time.

+Kelly Marie This interview WAS in the second half of the 90s + I know that she can speak much more fluent natural English + so I know that she's fooling Harald Schmidt + the studio/TV audience at this moment. Nothing "funny" about that, she's a very silly + affected person at this momemt. Not a problem for me coz I only like a few of her songs + her work with 808 State on the album "Ex:cel" (1991). But embarrassing for her to see her so foolish like THIS here....

Bjork having full artistic control is really key to her career because her stuff is so out there and original and unique and it sounds great and works so well for her I couldn't imagine her singing over standard pop garbage. Instead she writes music utilizing dark minor modes and can sound really jarring and abstract and it fits so well with her voice and lyrics

Love her.... went to Iceland a few years ago and... a few vehicles in our caravan got caught in several feet of snow. Our guides didn't freak... at first. However after about 40 minutes of trying to get our off-road vehicles moving again I could see our guides sweating. It was great fun! Love Iceland and its people!

Shallow audience man, I really don't think she was trying to be funny, as much as being humble, these were stories about her home, they were applauding in laughter. Kinda cruel I thought. But she was sweet throughout.

+skinny9283 It's a late night comedy show though, so anything you say will be taken for it's comedic value first.

She is controlling the crowd more than you think. She innocently makes a fool of people there.

I feel they wanted to let them finish their thoughts so they could react at an appropriate time, maybe I'm wrong but I've seen it happen a decent amount of times too, I'm glad they were at least respectful

I actually met Mufti from Einstürzende Neubauten in Chicago in 1985. I was working with a friend as a loader for a stage company in Chicago. Very interesting musicians.

She is totally and utterly captivating! I've only just cottoned on to Bjork and have quite quickly become obsessed with her. She's so talented it's untrue, she pisses a magical, enchanting, eccentric charisma all over the place, her voice is lovely and she's fucking gorgeous!

The only clothing designer I know Bjork really enjoys is Alexander McQueen. He did all the clothes for "Homogenic" album, he also designed the dresses in the "Pagan Poetry" music video and in the "Alarm Call" music video. She likes many more but I can't remember them right now--try google! I hope I answered your question a bit. Thanks for watching! ^_^
