Also, I recently found an interview in which Bizzy Bone spoke about this song, clarifying that the title of the track is "Murda May", rather than "Murda Me" (as it was affectionately known to fans). He went on to explain that this song was recorded during a time of turmoil with Tomica Wright and Ruthless Records. Murda May is a dedication of sorts - to a season of revenge.

The legends who pioneered a new lane in Hip-Hop, and created a style that is emulated in every genre of music now. Often imitated, but never duplicated. They made me proud to be from Cleveland. I hope to give this song to Bizzy one day with my sincerest "thank you" for some of my favorite music in the world.
