Hmmm probably I have missed on this back then
When I was 17, I worked at an Old Navy. This song was on the store's (corporate-issued?) playlist. The highlight of my shifts was waiting for this song to come on. I memorized the song or two before it and would get excited because it meant THIS SONG was coming up soon. When it was on, I felt pure bliss. Hearing this song was the very best part of that job. This was 2001, before things like Shazam, so I didn't know what it was called or who the artist was. I left that job and 5 or 10 or however many years later, I found out what this song was called and who performed it. It's still one of my all-time faves.

Great Song , I grew up in the 80’s and I always say that the glory years were probably 1984 - 1996 … the 90’s did a fantastic job holding on to that 80’s Vibe
Early nineties I remember this song, I was a teenager, my best friend and his younger brother and some girls they knew from a foster home in the neighborhood would all pile up in my car, an old hooptie. We had a cassette player and would cruise around just listening to hip hop music driving to no particular place. I remember we used to play this song.

I luv this jam,
I used to run this song as I was preparing to go out on dates back in the day!!! Lol! #90sRule4Ever
Oh to be 22 again grooving to this shit on the dancefloors of San Francisco. It was all about the music before the fog of the genre. Pure beauty. 🤩
I remember hearing this when I was a child ! Been stuck in my head for years!
i refuse, REFUSE to live in this decade. the 90s were exceedingly awesome in every form. gosh, the dance albums.... le sigh. so much happiness. soooo much happiness

I listen to 80s/90s way more than any new stuff. Im only 32 and people look at me like im crazy, but hey it was good music. The new mainstream stuff it's all about the same. Bitches, hoes, get money, get drunk, get high. I feel happier when I listen to the old stuff. The new stuff, especially some of the hip hop is depressing asf to me. One example that came to mind is Cardi B. Avoided her all this time, and now they playing her at work. For me she's like nails on a chalkboard.
