Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

i hate it. luckily most things are left out, but me personally, i ain't tryna hear some animals whimpering and crying before they're slaughtered. think you have to be kinda deranged to enjoy that. it's different when you actually need to eat to survive, but we aren't. we're just watching a video.

@@Sffker SF has made y'all soft. I don't mind animals making basic animal noises... but I don't like the screaming when it's a wounded animal, like the zebra episode - but then to see his immediate remorse for the poor shot makes you realize his true love and appreciation of what he is doing... and I respect that as a hunter. Now, My favorite episode ever was the chick from the Philippines who was fawning over the milk brushed suckling pig that was tender enough to cut with the plate, her closing when asked about ppl getting mad over eating baby piglets and she goes "aww... The world is a harsh place. Deal with it" I fell in love for a minute, and then so did my girlfriend when she watched. But I also live in an area where wild pigs are billion dollar nuisance animals due to the insane amount of damage done to crops... not to mention the natural grazing grounds for indigenous deer/turkey species. Don't worry though. When I harvest I make sure they're gone before they even hear the shot though. I use a very specific lead free monolithic projectile thats traveling at close to 3X the speed of sound.... And everything, even the bones, gets used. Everything except for the hair, that is. We were also taught hog processing in the 9th grade in public schools though. So there's that.
Is anyone else on a marathon? I just love Sonny and his appreciation for other cultures and their foods💜

I have never even thought about watching a food blog/channel before, but you're channel popped up as a suggested vid, and now I cannot get enough of it. One thing I enjoy about your channel is how unbiased you are towards the types and styles of food, even how they're presented. I take my hat off to you and your crew, well done!
As a Bahamian i loved this series! 242🇧🇸
As a Bahamians just about everything Chef Leonardos said was untrue. Bahamian food is not blend of Chinese, Greek, Creole food. Those maybe food options offered in The Bahamas. And, Bahamians don't have a appetite for stingrays, sharks eels and the likes, we largely only eat fish fish.

Yes, we never eat crabs without purging them for at least 2 weeks. They're fed mangoes, melons, sapodillies, coconut, sweet potatoes etc whatever fruits and vegetables are available. I also give them cooked left over rice or grits and bread. Purging them not only rids them of whatever they've been scavenging but it also makes them sweet and delicious!😁
The pig hunting with Jerome made me a subscriber that was awesome!!!
I live in the states where we can get fresh Dungeness 🦀 at the grocery stores and it always kills me when people ask to have them cleaned. Noooo!! Thats the flavor! A side note with the mud snack, in some places especially in Africa during times of famine people would make mud cake like that with added sugar or salt, dried in the sun. It fills the stomach but obviously has minimal to no nutrition. And since the mud is only dried in the sun for few hours, parasites and such can survive and enters the body when eaten.

Yes honey!! 242
The best thing about this show is demystifying food cultures from around the world, that basically all eat the same thing, prepared the same way with just different tools and flavorings.
me and my GF just got back from nassau it was amazing everyone is so friendly as well !
Unlike other food review shows, 'Best Ever Food Review Show' stays true to it's name truly being the best ever food review show.
These long videos always get me excited for a moment. Then I realise these are just compilations of the older videos😭

It says unseen bits in the title but I've seen all of this before. He won't reply because he never does. You'd think that someone would reply as its us that makes him money.

If I ever get to the Bahamas, I would love to go to the places Sonny went instead of the tourist way. To taste the food and experience the whole island 😀
The culture is so Beautiful ❤️😘😊 and the people are so Beautiful too
I love how chef Simon replies to your questions so respectful to the Haitian community

@@zoemystique7773 HI South Africa...thanks for showing the love...
I wanna say that you did a show a couple years back and this one by far is waaaaay better. Thank you for portraying my country in such good light.
Oh my, Sonny this would have to be one of your best videos yet - and I seem to think that I say that often? You really do get to the heart of the people and their culinary experience. Thanks so much for sharing these wonderful people and their diverse food.
