ok so ive watched this like 4 times now, and im still getting chills. like, this is everything i love about the flower husbands. they were soft and cute, but ultimately they were in a death game, it was never gonna last.

OOOUUHHH UVE DONE IT AGAIN!!!!!!! ur shot composition is phenomenal dude. the blue of reality and the rose of fantasy... ;-; sob sob sob and how sharp the switch at the end is MISERY! i think my favorite bit is how much quick and quiet emphasis there is on jimmys deaths, and how scotts expression barely changes. like it just doesnt hit him fully. so happy to see more from u!

SCREAMING. SOBBING. HOLY SHIT. this is absolutely fantastic and the transition between scott in the imagined future holding a poppy and smiling and then the actual scott holding his sword like that...BRILLIANT. SHOW-STOPPING. INCREDIBLE.

You should do an animatic about Impulse and how he couldn't even trust his day 1 crew in the end, cause he betrayed too many people!

OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS SO MUCH everything about the way you draw the game mechanics like the floating enchanted sword to the shields appearing, the scenes you chose to include from even the earlier episodes like them stealing the cows from Tango and building the wall to the way you hit the serious scenes like the aftermath of Jimmy's second death and the visit from Martyn and the Red King, and THEN THE ENDING WITH THEM RUNNING AWAY AND LEAVING THE GAME INSTEAD OF FACING THEIR FATE BUT ITS NOT REAL AAAHHG I'M CRYING, AND ON TOP OF THAT YOU CHOSE THE BEST SONG!!! ANYWAYS THIS IS SO WONDERFUL TYSM

I absolutely adore this, I think it’s time to add something new to my comfort animatics list (which may or may not be mostly flower husbands things haha) But like, it’s so detailed!! The backgrounds are really well done, especially considering that this thing was over three minutes long and took place in multiple different locations. Scott’s and Jimmy’s expressions in this are so contagious, when they were smiling I was too, and when it cut to the reality of Scott’s situation I went from :D to D: real fast /pos And the use of colour as emphasis in this is just incredible, how it’s all darker in the reality and how there’s only two things that aren’t greyscale! Whenever someone does that I really love it. From a non art nerd perspective, I just love the vibes radiating off this It’s really really good and now I’m gonna watch it a couple more times edit: also this might be a reach but there was a stag… Rivendell and Aeor and Empires symbolism??? (all that goes through my head nowadays is third life and empires smp) Edit edit with last life spoilers: the southlanders in last life they found a way to get through the border! So it makes this possible!!

This is the 6th time I’ve come back to watch this and can I just say: absolutely breathtaking every time. The way you do animatics is just stunning and so well put together!! That combined with the heartbreaking narrative of 3rd Life and with your lovely art style just makes for an incredible piece. Amazing work, I love this :D
