My dad had this album and played it for us kids all the time. What a great memory, miss you Dad. My sister still has all of his albums.

I've adored this album, and all Christy Minstrels music since childhood. I know every word of this album

This is my childhood!

I had this record when I was a little boy learning to play the guitar. I played it almost incessantly. The only part of it I still perform is the "Bits & pieces" medley. It cracks the audience up every time. Shoot, it cracks me up too.

Loved this album as a kid and performed some of these bits and pieces at family and friend's talent shows with my sisters.

Can you post the whole album, this is gold

The "Tip Toe Thru The Tulips With Me" parody is my favorite part. And every time I hear their parody of Home on the Range, I think it could have been a little different. Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam, Where the deer and the antelope play, And I'll invite you over for a great Venison dinner. (something like that)

An alternate "Tip Toe Thru The Tulips With Me" parody would be where they mention different types of flowers in each verse. And the last verse would be this."Tip toe thru the roses...Ooh! Ow! Ouch!"

"Get them sheep outta here. This is cattle country."

So I remember calling in on a radio program where they allowed you to sing one song and I ended up singing the one about the chickens and the rooster. Needless to say I got a lot of laughs. I have always loved this part of the album although the rest of it is excellent as well but bits and pieces will always be the best part for me

Actually this has one extra segment than the original album. The living room rug that'll grow anything bit was not included until the CD version.
