Great conversation and thanks Dominic !! Always a pleasure to listen to your thoughts and analysis… There is a huge change going on that governments haven’t really cottoned on to (thank god) - the individual that sets up his personal lifestyle like that will advance his own standard of living faster than anyone else 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

He makes a great point about how the tax system determines so much about how our society functions. The tax system needs to be completely dismantled and rebuilt in much simpler form. As it stands it is a colossal waste of resources that vastly outweighs the actual revenue collected, a net loss. The answer to how we pay for roads, hospitals, and schools is simple - pay for it with money. That money exists and has already been underwritten by all of our efforts. Energy likewise should be paid for with money. Money is a bill of exchange underwritten by goods or services to that value. We have already underwritten it otherwise how could it have become money in the first place? Its not complicated but they make it complicated.

Jury still out on Milei. He ruled out BRICS alignment and loves that country in the Middle East that we can not name. If he was actually a Libertarian, I think he would have already done what El Salvador has done to make Bitcoin legal tender and to begin sovereign holding of Bitcoin. We'll see.

Not necessarily. His policy will create a great depression, and the elites will love to buy up the assets at pennies for dollars. For the Argentines I hope he is genius (and not an agent of the elites) and manages to avoid all the traps of the Masters of the Universe.

With regard to Dominic's comments about 'Freelancers pay less tax'... As a former freelancer/contractor in the UK, the Government have gone a long way to closing that 'loophole' by the introduction of IR35 legislation. Basically, a contractor will usually pay normal levels of PAYE tax but without any of the employee benefits such as paid leave, etc.

A note to the commentator. Dont talk about crypto talk about bitcoin. The coin that made the breakthrough because it had the vision that honestly wanted to address the ills of society and did indeed make that breakthrough. The altcoins didn't make this breakthrough, but their vision was to copycat Bitcoin, and that's where all the scams come in. Compare, you are confused. You think the shine has come off. But look at the price trajectory. You can't see that each subsequent low price is only as low as its previous high. And this has happened year after year.

Taxation does not pay for government spending. It is there to control the money supply - the one that the government creates in the first place. Government debt is the money supply.

Free markets does not, have never and will never exist. Markets have always been controlled and mostly distorted, be it by the aristocracy, the oligarchy, the town hall, the government or the strongest player in the market - like the Elon Musks and Jeff Bezos' of today.. The best you can hope for is a fair market, but that requires supervision and control, so it's not free.

Millei has been a complete disappointment and he could have encouraged Bit coin and got rid of the central bank but hasn't, he seems like a complete sell out. George Gammon went over to Argentina recently to see if he could transact in gold/silver or Bitcoin but didn't get no where, not enough liquidity or adoption.
