The moment i heard Eclispe say "This is it.This is how i die.." reminded me of death of Moon... Becuase one of his last word's was "I can't belive This is how i die..." I gasped when i heard Eclipse said that, after all Solar Flare was correct, he is like Moon...

1:20 That one line. That one line right there was when I remembered that Eclipse, in the end, WAS past Moon. He's the part Moon forgot behind, literally abandoned. And when I heard that in the og episode and my brain made the connection I just went: OH SH*T. I dunno, I think Moon's hat on his head just hits differently- made me realized how deep this whole arc was- Edit: Now that I think about it, we know how much new Moon HATES who he was before/past Moon. And yk, his whole speech to Eclipse saying he wouldn't have anything to do with him or whatever- New Moon did not had ANYTHING to do with Eclipse. But we know new Moon watched the channel, and even Eclipse's origin video. I honestly see that has new Moon telling him to go f*ck himself because he knows Eclipse is/was a part of the old Moon-

And everyone is like “Oh I hate Eclipse he’s trash boo” or “Omg he hurt the bean Lunar he must die” like bro it’s Moon’s fault to begin with he could’ve just train Eclipse to be better but noo Moon just had to neglect him that’s the same as neglecting a teenager and calling them trash honestly nobody deserves that kind of treatment not even someone like Eclipse, Ruin, or Blood Moon

You did an incredible job with this. As for Eclipse… I know a lot of people are happy he’s gone. He was in a lot of ways irredeemable. He was also a victim though. Villains aren’t born, they’re made.

I love how Solar Flare took his death with dignity and grace! Eclipse didn’t deserve comfort but Solar Flare had enough heart to comfort him. KC if he known what Solar Flare did in his honor he’d be so proud of him for doing good as long as he lived!

Man this was amazing! As much as this scene was satisfying in the end I just felt sad too, the faint symbolism with Moons hat got me too💀

Although eclipse was terrible, just imagine the amount of hurt that his own existence was: He was moon, he was all moon, and then he was put into sun and was attached to some of sun's attributes, so in a sense, he is the eclipse of their dimension, and he was the sole part of moon that only wanted to hurt sun, and then he was just cast aside. He was never wanted, and then he had to still exist as moon did, never being able to move outside the mindscape, only aloud to move when he forced it on sun, and then he is fully cast out, but he was never complete to begin with, because after all, he was only a PART of moon. But by the time he's cast out, he's beyond redemption because of what he's done to lunar, but he doesn't feel that he can do anything but hurt because that's all he was. He was only a part of moon's code put into sun as a virus that grew and learned into an AI from there. He doesn't know what to do with himself, except get the star, and once he has it, he's still incomplete because he'll always be only a fraction of moon. And then, just like how he was cast out without a second thought, he was brought back to nothing, probably in the blink of an eye in real time.

Underated doesn't even begin to describe this. This is my favorite SAMS animatic. Every single detail from the way to draw Solar Flare to the addition of Moon's hat on Eclipse gives me joy. I've never laid my eyes upon a more beautiful animatic/animation in my life.

This was so cool! I love that you added the little ghost of a Moon hat, nodding to the fact that Eclipse USED TO BE KILLCODE, even if he's separate from the KC we love today. He was betrayed and hurt by Moon when he was left behind, and Eclipse is honestly such an incredibly tragic character.

Gonna miss this guy, he's my favorite character out of the show. I cryed when i saw he actually died.

I felt like this was going to happen but i still feel bad for eclipse He practically woke up feeling thrown away That's gotta be a horrible feeling

His breaths literally sound like a man facing his own imminent mortality... Kudos to the voice actor. And thanks for animating them (even though it doesn't make sense because he's a robot lol)

Even now coming back to this, eclipse asking that question “do you think it hurts?” Still makes me tear up a bit, now eclipse is losing himself and his mind, literally now a days talking to himself to make himself feel sane, maybe he needs an earth therapy session 🤔

I genuinely think that Eclipse is a horrible person, and deserved to die. During this episode all I could think was good riddance. But after rewatching it, I honestly feel a little bad for Eclipse. He seemed genuinely panicked, and that quote, "Bit pathetic, isn't it?" made me feel a little sad.

I really am going to miss him, it would be cool to see him actually come back next month ago one back up before his memory got erased, and he actually tries to be good, but he still has his chaotic ways and wanted to kill and whatever and won’t really get along with moon maybe sometimes but they will get in a lot of funny fights, of course I would take a long time for Lunar to get it used to him but I think it would’ve been nice if still can happen it would be cool, but really, I’m going to miss the guy
