I know it has been 5 years since this tutorial was posted, but I just got this Bissell used from a family member and did not know how to use it...Very clear instructions and demonstration, Thank you so much I’m going to clean my carpet!!!

Had this machine for years but never used it....thank you so much for showing me how! Easy to understand instructions & great demonstration.

Brilliant demonstration of the Bissell carpet cleaner. Your operation instructions and your demonstration was top notch! You were clear and concise and im telling you that you’re easier to understand than the product manual! 8 years since this video was posted and it’s still helping people it’s fantastic! 👍🏻☺️🙏🏻

Thank you for posting this video. I inherited one of these machines without an instruction booklet. Your video is more informative (regarding operating and maintaining) than the Bissell videos. I also appreciate your personal techniques and tips.

By far the most informative how to use video I’ve seen for this yet. It answered so many questions!

I still refer to this video 7 years on and confirm that I've obviously not looked after my Bissell because areas of mine are EXTREMELY funky and scuzzed up!! A very thorough video though. One failing of the Bissell is parts of the unit that collect the fluid could definitely be better adapted for cleaning. The spaces are so tight to try to clean. Thanks though for your tutorial!

I had my Bissell Little Green Machine over 20 years ago and I had lost the instructions over years of moving and I never thought I would find a video for my model. It's exactly this one your using. Man I had no idea the front guard and brushes could be removed that easily. I was worried about messing something up and was cleaning it in a really inconvenient way. Your Roomba video is good too.

I have this machine and have used it a bunch. When I put the shampoo in, I do use hot water to finish filling it with but have never rinsed it after so tonite I have a stained area to work on and I will rinse the carpet afterward. Good video and thanks!!

If you wanted to, this entire channel could be you showing people how to do other things around the house or anywhere you feel there may be a need (i.e. rules of the road). There are many people in this country who didn’t have a father figure to show them these things and you could provide that teaching. Wether you choose to do that or not, this video alone provides valuable information and I thank you for it. 😊

Have you tried pulling trigger as you go forward then releasing when go back so that it 'dries or sucks it up' as you go backwards? Very good advice on how to set it up and clean it. It gave me great confidence in using it and in taking it apart to clean. First time I used it before watching your video I didn't get any dirty water get sucked back in so I checked the fittings and the metal clip wasn't pushed down and secondly there was gunk in the feeder because someone else used it before me and hadn't cleaned it. So it was great to see how it was supposed to work. I bet you are a great dad and grandpa with your good teaching advice :)

I bought Bissel new at Big Lots.I used the Bissel 3 days. It worked great.. A year later went to use it. It won't vacuum up the dirty water. Took it apart cleaned everything still will not suck up dirty water. Complete waste of money.

I have the lightweight; it has been a lot of trouble; finally quit working in less than year.

The vacuum is not sucking out the water does it need new belt? The old on seems to be a little loose

Does it really matter if you press the trigger thing while going backward instead of pressing it as u go forward ..?

Can you use this machine on your tile floor?
