Bissell Cleanview Motor Replace

Bissell does not make these parts available. They don't even provide the part number for them should you want to replace one. This leaves you with the only options of finding a donor machine for free or a used motor off ebay, IMO unless you have a free motor to put in, buying a used one is not really worth it, these units are meant to be disposable, which is clearly shown in this video.

Man that is a lot of screwing around. I would have those screws all mixed up for sure. Great job. Thanks for the video.

Their commercial line has every part and the prices are VERY reasonable, I checked. They have a lot of different uprights to choose from, and are worth the extra money. They are made in Netherlands too, NOT China like that one. They have online manuals, schematics, and every single part, motor brushes are only $1.67 Aluminum roller brush with preinstalled sealed double ball bearings, and 4 sets of bristles, $35 Belt $2.95

That's an older version of the one that we bought a few months ago, while it's a good vacuum as your video shows they're not meant for picking up heavy-duty stuff, why I use my old shop vac for stuff like that, even down to vacuuming out the car.

I have this same vacuum and it’s has been great except the hose attachment is too short to reach most areas and due to its lightweight tips over frequently. I can’t complain too much i paid $70 for it years ago. Nice job! 👍

Hi Hank, I have a easyvac bissell vacuum cleaner 1273-y model. I was hoping you could help me. I took my cleaner apart to clean it. So I am about to put it back together and I have what appears to look like a thermostat or something that has come out and I dont know if it goes in this one place or somewhere else. Are you able to tell me ?

Unlike many Chinese-made motors, those are actually decently built. No, these are not Ametek, but still, there are other China manufacturers that can make decent motors. Some Chinese motors are good, and some are absolute junk that will die after five years. These probably have about a 400 hr. lifespan. Probably either a Suzhou EUP or Kingclean motor. Cinderson makes decent Chinese motors as well. The TTI Ningbo Dechang motors are junk though.
