Ppl are mostly upset bc the agenda to build him as a soon to be superstar is so "in your face", that they even put him in the main card over aljo, figueredo, and jiri. At one point, they initially had Charles open in up the main card but decided to change it to bo rightfully so. Fans just see what's happening and don't like being forced to watch someone in that manner, especially after putting him over other proven fighters/former champs. That's how I feel. But I think bo can definitely enter the 15th rank by end of year.

If everyone starts gravitating towards a certain style, the fighters who can effectively take people out of that style and dominate the fight somewhere else are the ones who will rise to the top. Then everyone tries to copy THAT style and the pendulum swings again. We've already seen the shift back and forth from striking to grappling several times. The exciting part is that every time it shifts, the whole sport levels up in terms of technique

The problem isn't that he’s fighting low tier guys. The problem is that he’s fighting low tier guys on the main card of such a monumental event. If they made Bo Nickal vs Ikram Aliskerov then you could justify it being the main card of 300. But Bo vs Brundage shouldn't even be on the 300 prelims. Bo vs Brundage could've been on the main card of 302 or 303. Hell, Bo vs Brundage on the main card of 297 (Strickland vs Du Plessis) would've made that card a lot better.
