actually the only reason mma fighters bother to fight boxing is because they can take some of that boxing bag purse. And since boxing is declining and everyone knows mma is a more realistic fighting scenario, and mma fighters are arguably more popular then boxers, or becoming more popular. Boxers need mma clout, in exchange for $$$

I absolutely love both sports, and have for many years. I would really prefer mma fighters stay in mma, but understands the purses are hard to say no to, and for the boxers in the majority of cases it’s a very low risk fight with high pay. But it’s just not exciting because again in the majority of these matches you know what’s going to happen.

The reason why mma fights can give boxers enough trouble to make it interesting for awhile, is distance. Bc of takedowns and kicks, mma fighters are used to landing shots from a distance the boxer feels safe at. Don’t become a boxer, use that advantage.
