    Bo seems to be a pretty smart and well grounded guy. He was 120-3 in college. That's insane. Sure, he doesn't have many pro fights, but wrestling at the highest level for so long will serve him well. All these haters saying he's fighing cans have to realize that they're all in the UFC. Everyone else's first pro fights were in far lesser organizations.

    I would say without a doubt on of the things distinguishes Bo from other fighters and even from most people is this enquiry observation he has. The way he analyze situations and the honesty of his reaction to what he sees is rare in our human kind. The clarity of thoughts backed up with action reinforces the spirit and the strength that he's able to acces isn't just a physical thing, this is something else. When the strength comes from the spirit and it's feed by honest action, honest talking and honest thinking, it's an unstoppable force. This is a different breed of warrior.

    There was a mention of Bo and Khamzat a good while back and it seemed to get swept under the rug. I actually think Dana may have said something like, “Let’s not get carried away.” I have been repeatedly commenting about wanting that fight bad. When Khamzat burst onto the scene and started destroying everyone with record turnaround I was excited. Khamzat seemed to come out of nowhere and there was a lot of mystique around him. After he missed weight and laughed it off he flipped everyone off and attacked the crowd. He praised Chechnya and threatened to kill everyone. Ever since that night I’ve been waiting for someone to hand him some humility and Bo is the guy to get it done. Much love and respect to Gilbert who came extremely close.

    Not so sure about that. He has all the potential in the world but it's hard to gauge where he really is at this point in time with the competition he's faced so far. I'd be rooting for Bo too, but I do think he still lacky a little of specifically mma training time to get it done against Khamzat. That being said there's a good chance any top 5 will hand Khamzat humilty, any fight with a top 5 guy will be tough, Khamzat is no exception.

    While MMA is more popular now than ever, there isn't the body of competition that exists in it that exists in wrestling. The amount of competition, the training regimen, the techniques (historical and innovative), is just so much at a higher level. That's not to say that a great wrestler will always win MMA, but a great wrestler will never be bad at MMA.

    He has amazing athleticism, but he's still untested against top competition. We will see. He could be the real deal, but his striking needs a bit of work. I don't think he's getting away with the type of striking we saw in the last fight against top guys.

  • @Giggle-ing

    You mean catching a guy square from the outside and nearly taking him off his feet while getting out of range? The armchair critics claiming he is untested when he’s had well over 100 wrestling matches and hasn’t been hit yet as a pro. Hilarious. How is he supposed to be ‘tested’ at this point except against guys in his ranking zone who are ‘more experienced’?

  • @Dementia.Pugilistica

    @Dementia.Pugilistica

    10 ай бұрын

    @Giggle-ing he has power but the mechanics of his striking and set ups are awful. Any seasoned striker would have seen it from a mile away. Very telegraphed. He gets tested by moving up in competition, that's all, then we'll see if he's good or not. There's lots of fighters that look tremendous in drills or against tomato cans but then fail at higher stakes. He has a good background in wrestling and competition and I believe he has a good chance at making it far in the sport. But he is unproven. That's just a fact. He's had 5 fights in mma man! 5! Remember when Khamzat had similar stats and was supposed to be invincible then barely beat Burns? This isn't an armchair critique... I'm not ragging on the guy. Just stating how I see the state of his career and prospects so far. It was very fair and balanced what I said.

But as far as wrestling goes as great as he is there's another guy by the name of Cael Sanderson who is second to nobody as far as wrestling goes, and his 159 and old record speaks for itself 🤔 but we can all rest assure both will be a UFC champion sooner than you think rest of sure of that. He has the dedication the intelligence and more so than any of it the will to win 🇺🇸💪 stay humble Bo!!! You're on a road that no man is ever walked on in the UFC 🙏💪🇺🇸
