@@Ferda1964 Maybe, who knows. An equally likely scenario. That's my point. She very well could be saying go away, but to say she is charging is a far cry from what I saw here. If she were charging there would be some hurt folks. Instead of claiming an animal to be violent towards innocent snowmobilers, why not just do as she is suggesting...go away and let her get back to the peace she was likely enjoying before the humans came along and started harassing her with intent or not.

I used to play will a bull I would run past him he would chase me I would stop turn around run back at him and he would take off running bucking he was a cool bull.

Do you know how many times I have heard someone say "I thought he was playing", or " he did not charge", or "I had no idea she would attack me for petting her cub or calf"? Too many times to count. It's why you are provided informational packets on what to do when you encounter wildlife. Most people fail to understand animal behavior, so distance guidelines like 25 yards for bison ensures you do not encroach on their space. Everyone has a video camera today, so save yourself from embarrassment on KZread. As an FYI, raising the tail, shaking head and charging a snowmachine are all signs of aggression. It may seem like playing to you, but that has no relevance on what is actually happening. BTW, I do have a background here, so if you don't want to take my word for it, just try and educate yourself before you get yourself in a bad situation. It's all I ask...

BPRescue no you should definitely give wild animals a wide berth for sure especially if you don’t know what you’re doin. If he really wanted to attack he would’ve and some of those guys wouldn’t have had time to do anything. I just get tired of humans over blowing and making huge deals out of normal animal behavior. Like when I was teaching scuba a lady got hit by a spotted eagle ray while the boat was going by. This was right after the Erwin incident. Next day the news was trying to link it all together like there was some mass sting ray conspiracy. Never mind the fact that it’s like the second stingray death in recorded history and never mind the fact that stingrays are gentle creatures who like to be pet as long as you know how to respect their boundaries. Humans by far are the most dangerous animal on the planet.

Mostly guided, but the do allow lottery permits for those who want to go alone. You have to stay on groomed trails, which are really just the main roads/loops.

My life over the animals..if I feel I am in danger it wouldn’t matter if it’s endangered or not. I’d prefer not to be stomped on by one so I’ll protect myself how I am rightfully able to. But if I could avoid taking its life I’d rather that.

Why they have Snowmobile tours thru Yellowstone, and this is what you see. That road is cleared for the Snowmobiles, it's not open for any other traffic, do to the fact Yellowstone is closed during the winter for cars. Only way into Yellowstone is by Snowmobile, which is allowed by the park. So' these people had every right to be there. The bison also has a right to be there.
