Bison Birth
We came up to a field with a small herd of bison in it, one that had a new red dog calf recently born. We watched for a few minutes when we realized another cow was about to give birth. She was a great mom. We came by a couple hours later and she was taking her baby to the woods.
Was mighty relieved when she started to nurse. Beautiful video. Thanks for the glimpse at these awesome creatures.

It was. There was still some snow on the ground. Momma Bison ate all the snow in the area where she gave birth it was really cool to watch.
