Jesus said, "Do not think that I came to bring peace. I did not come to bring peace but a sword." The reason he said that is because he knew that his message was divisive for our world. It separates the light from the dark, the good from the bad. It's very popular right now to talk about "unity." God's Word says that what fellowship has light with darkness or righteousness with wickedness? For friendship with the world is enmity with God. Jesus said a servant is not greater than his master. If the world hated Jesus then know that it will also hate you too for serving Him. Since when did having people and the media hate you or having people come against you be a sign that you're doing something wrong? The whole world hated Jesus, so much so that they called for his death over Barabbas. People tried to kill him more than once out of their hatred for him although he had done no wrong. the Bible says woe unto you when all men speak well of you. Let's face it, there's only one man that is hated in this political race, but I would argue that that's not a sign that he's doing something wrong, if anything that could very well be a sign that he's doing something right.

Don't really understand the analogy with Jesus in this matter. The speaker is a Christian leader with a great followership all over the world, expressing qualities of good leaders and leadership while also displaying great eloquence and teaching skills. Wonder why the supposedly greatest country in the world would start importing ventilators late hour and also have the highest casualties in the world due to laxity and a very poor response to a pandemic from the leadership. The dead are now just a pile of data and still counting and some see absolutely nothing wrong with these. Thank God Ebola was quickly contained by your previous administration in your time, but you need to view the casualty figures in countries that responded poorly or late to the pandemic. He that must come to equity, must come with clean hands. I can't help but wonder, why some taxpayers declare their tax returns without any form of arm twisting, while also carrying placards and saying some really don't have to show theirs. Something doesn't just really add up here. The ostrich buries its head in the sand and pretends the imminent danger would go away, provided it doesn't see it while other animals brace up for a fight. The talk here is about leadership from a seasoned commentator and not really a church sermon. Its targeted at individuals that can really open their eyes and mind for reason to prevail. I learnt one or two things here anyway about leadership and an ability to open up ones eyes and mind to reason.

There is a lesson in this. We know God, we love God. We are just as able to lose sight with what God had/has given us and the purpose in which to use it. The lesson here is,if this can happen to this man, who was at a time, a GREAT man of GOD. Some how lost his way. It can happen even to us. Pray that Holy Spirit help us never to lose our way from God.Help us to love jakes and not judge him. God give us a deep deep discernment, guidance, wisdom , knowledge , and supernatural love understanding for others. Not that they can use take advantage of goodness. Rather we know when to believe, when nor to believe, when to give and what to give in time of need. To know when not to give due to spirit of manipulation, control, ect.. only with God's help we will know this and more. This we can learn and pray that it dont happen to us and our families. I was a diehard T.D.Jakes fan for many years. I even thought of moving to Dallas so I can attend his church. I even contributed to his ministry regularly. The very moment I saw his interview a few years ago where he skirted around the gay issue saying that the church is evolving on that issue, I dropped him like a sack of potato. I haven’t listened to him since then.

If you're against gay marriage unions speak your peace. Get more involved. Let your lawmakers know how you feel. Call or write or protest. We have that right in our country, but don't forget gay people are good people who also love God. I get how you feel. I just wish people would be careful picking a total loser to lead the country to get what they want. No leader is perfect, but a true leader will hear you and try to meet the needs of the people. It all rest on the shoulders of the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ in the United States to turn back to God and fight the warfare of faith against the kingdom of darkness that has divided this nation.

I had a dream about TD Jakes 23 years ago that he was going to sink. I saw a large ship sailing on the ocean, I knew it was the Potter's House. As I was looking at the ship sail it began to sink. As I continued to look at the ship it sank , and I knew that it was the Potter's House. We traveled years and years to conferences supporting Jakes. I never forgot this vision and always wondered how and when it would unfold. I have been a HUGE follower of Jakes for years, but began to see a turn a few years ago. God is no longer his priority. Notice in this clip he said NOTHING about righteous policies. Only what good leadership looks like. It's not about what good leadership looks like, but what policies good leadership upholds. Not one word about the bible or what God says. When he turned left my husband and I jumped ship and I would advise others to do the same! I am a black woman who supports Trump. I support his policies, and appreciates that he stands with the church. Black people get off these sinking ships!!! The only ship that will NEVER sink is that OLD SHIP OF ZION! Stay with God no matter what!

I have no personal life crisis because I have Jesus Christ! Not sure why some of these Christian leaders are helping to promote the uncertainty and fear by the enemy. We need to unite, pray, and exercise our faith in listening to what God has to say. PERIOD!!

When your proclaimed Cyrus was in hospital, he received medication derived from aborted fetal tissue. Haven't heard any outcry from the Pro life clan. Sounds more like Jezebel than Cyrus.

I’m so saddened but from the beginning when he wouldn’t open to his flock when they needed Gods word I knew I was being shown . From such turn away. Voting the Bible was for me a clear path. It was light or darkness. I’m not going to disparage because that rests in God .

TD jakes was exposed as a pedophile by someone who was trafficked. It is said.

Yea TD you are the Pastor who church my family attended one New Year Eve service with over 2000 people 4 offerings btw 9-11:30. Not to mention it was very hot inside Once service was over his people was in the halls selling water and bananas to a bunch of hot and thirsty people. I felt then it was about how much money he can make
