Drop the veer? Don't you mean start to recruit and bring in transfers? DLS has ran the veer close to 40 years. Your probably too young, but did you that DLS had open practices to the public especially other coaches to come together to teach the fundamentals of football? Shit even Bill Walsh was a frequent visitor at the little school in concord, ca.

The veer is what makes them relevant. They are a small school with an average size line and moderate to good athletes. That offense ran to perfection is what allows them to play the big boys, similar to what Navy and Georgia tech are able to do.

I failed 3 years for the first time in middle school and twice in high school I do my birthday in November I can play football in high school or I'd better do it for a junior college and then try to go to a university division 1 .. Like I said...Cali got about 3-4 teams in LA and I in San Fran. St Johns Bishop, Mater Dei, Poly ??? De La Salle. And that's it. A few super teams...individual spread out. Talk to a,Cali person and that's all they got. St Johns. Mater Dei. DLS. Maaan you got all south Florida. Dallas, Houston,Austin and,San Antonio. But Cali has the largest population in the country.

Could a team of nationally ranked basketball players from 2017 and up can beat bishop Gorman ?

And if every school did it then we wouldn’t be talking about Gorman right now! You’d be talking about a variety of schools private and public.... when your blowing out schools by 7-10 touchdowns and they maybe got 2 or 3 that ain’t something to be proud of.... you totally can tell the difference between the 2 teams 1 has a all star team and the other has maybe 2 stars.... but you put a all star team against another all star team and look what happens Gaymen get there ass handed in both games!
