Lord knows I needed this. I remember my cousins and I sitting in church while this song was being sung. We weren’t paying an ounce of attention, but now here I am 31 and crying in the car thankful for the work that has been done for me.

I thank God for giving GE Patterson. The right message to spread the gospel to the 4 corners of the Earth.

Bishops messages are still relevant in my life today just as if he just preached them. I thank God for Bishop Patterson! He was truly a man of God. I was not brought up in the Church of God in Christ family, but I thank them for sharing Bishop with us

I understand Joann. I have health issues as well. Bishop Patterson is in heaven but he is my pastor these days.

God, I want every part of my life to glorify You. I want to live my life in such a way that every thought, word, and action brings You joy and honor. Please show me how to live that kind of life. And show me how to love those around me the way You have loved me. Be first in my life, Lord Jesus, and move in mighty ways through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I'm here watching this in 2020. God directed me here because I've been going to a apostolic pentecostal church that is extremely traditional. After going there for a couple months I realized their doctrine was different than what God put in my heart. This message right here is exactly what God has been saying to me. Holliness is something from the inside! You cant wear it! being modest is important as children of God but not to the extremes of their traditions. God Bless G.E Patterson. Rest in Heaven

I remember hearing something over a year ago that really stuck with me. Grew up AME but when I got to college (still in college on my senior year) I went to a COGIC church near by. I remember walking from church and stopped to get something to eat. While I was waiting on my food a janitor asked me why I was so dressed up I told him I just came from church and where I go to. He told me “oh okay well I like churches where you come dressed as you are.” That stuck with me because I’ve never really thought that there were people being shunned because of how they dressed. I’ve also heard stuff about women not being able to preach in which my Mom is a pastor. Moments like that is why I’m slowly reading for myself and when I see someone use a scripture online I always go read to give it context only to find out it was used out of context. People get so caught up in their own way of thinking that they’ll deny the truth right in front of them using the Bible as a weapon against others.

Watching 2021. I grew up in a Pentecostal church, great grand-daughter of a Pentecostal bishop. My Aunt, Bishop's daughter still teaches that foolishness. I left her church when I got married 20 years ago and got into the word for myself. This was on time!

I wish this was preached when I was coming up in the church as a child. Everything was wrong. No sports no nothing!! Praise God for this message.

I so enjoyed the way GE Patterson communicates the scriptures he's so awesome I can imagine he's in heaven praising the Lord and God Almighty with the Holy Angels and the other saints and the apostles

I cannot get enough of this sermon. Bishop breaks it down so you can understand. Each time I listen to this it helps me and give me understanding. Thank you for the word Bishop. RIP Truly you are missed

I'm at work watching this in 2022. At Methodist hospital. Today 8/25/22.

pure truth and honesty. we need more preachers who will tell the truth AND explain with history so you can really understand. i love how he explains things so you can see the full picture

His spirit lives on indeed. After watching this video I repented. Turned away from sin. My heart changed, my mind changed, I no longer desire the sinful things I use to desire. I gave my life to God. I made my mind up. I was discouraged because I thought I needed the Holy Spirit right away to be saved, but the first step is turning away from sin. Not just asking for forgiveness, but turning away from sin and doing it no more. Even though he is with God his teachings are even now in 2021 bringing souls to Christ.

Can’t get save by law. Save is an inside job through Jesus by faith. Teach Bishop. This is exciting to hear this teaching on salvation. Believe in Jesus Christ living on the inside!!

This was so deep and powerful it lead me deeply in prayer. Just thanking God for what he did. For taking me from under the Laws of Moses. Thank God for the shedding of his PRECIOUS BLOOD ON CALVARY. SALVATION IS INDEED AN INSIDE JOB.

Bishop Patterson is and was a power house of God. Preach/teach. Amen

God bless you young man. Bishop was on a Jesus kick! If you follow what the Bishop preached. You can't go wrong. I started at 25, I am now 69. And what He preached about Jesus still saves souls! Jesus died to save souls!

I sure do miss Bishop Patterson, his preaching of the word still stands today, especially in these days. Whether we take head to the word of God is totally on each individual, cause you cant say you didn't get the word, especially from this ministry. I love and miss this great man of God. Thank you so much for continuously playing his messages and sharing. I watch him everyday. My first pastor, Bishop ED Moore preached the same way and what he said way back when, still stands today. In this day and and time we need the true word of God if we want to see Jesus one day. Amen to the word, if it hits me, ok then, get's me that much closer to Jesus if I take it in. Salvation is an inside job, thank you Jesus.

My favorite sermon. So much of this goes on and prevents those of weak or no faith from coming at all. And those who do come are ostracized and shunned at times..

We say we love God but we feel comfortable wearing pants in God's house of prayers knowing that it's an extreme hatred unto God for us to wear especially in God's house of prayers, now where is our love of God. But what is the fruit? As the Lord opened my eyes I saw how men (and even women) check out women dressed in pants (no matter if worn loose). Once I started modifying my garments some men acted offended that they could no longer see my form. But even more amazing to me was men would start opening doors for me, offering to help carry my bags or just offer assistance. I even had several men approach me and say they could tell I was a godly woman or woman of God but the way I carried myself (i.e. dressed and acted). In contrast, no one ever accused me of being a godly woman in pants unless I was specifically in church praying or something. Have you spoken to any women in your church that have dealt with this? If they have now started wearing pants do they see good fruit from the choice? Do they think it’s brought more glory to the Lord? Thanks for responding!

I'm sorry he was alive to teach about wearing of jewellery because they'd a seventh day church in my neighbourhood where it's members tell it folks and kids that God said you 're not to wear ratings or jewellery. I thought you weren't to worship I've never seen no scripture about wearing of such things

God called us as believers in Jesus Christ to be "set apart " come out from among them and be ye separate. Yet, we're in the world not of it.
