These modern day Bishops don't know nuthing bout that "whoo"! That's the old Bishop shout right there.

We use to have church like this back in the 70's and 80's. It's so sad we don't have it like this anymore!

Here is a congregation that brought church with them through the doors!

So many of us miss this kind of church....and trust me...I understand where you're coming from because I miss it too. But God has not changed! He's still the same today that He was yesterday. If this generation will seek the Lord like our parents and grandparents, we too will experience even a greater anointing and moving of the Holy Ghost!

This is the sound of Pentecost....Love it to my heart!!

Too bad we don't church like this anymore!!! Many people of today...especially young people round my age (26) think you gotta make people shout, or be singing doin a whole bunch of runnin or other unecessary mess! Sometimes they even be fakin dancing just to be dancing but when it's real u don't need no music and you don't have to try to make people do nothing...they won't be able to hold their peace if they tried!!! Love this clip!!!!

Bishop Ellis is truly missed! I am only 17 years old and I remember hearing his sermon, "Get up." A couple of nights ago on the word network, and I say that they need to put his sermons on tv like Bishop G.E.Patterson, because his words of wisdom would still ring joybells in many people lives and the word that he preached will save somebody's life

I remember hearing this song driving with my dad to church two years before he died. I thank God my dad is singing this song now on heaven. Praise Jesus!

I still remember this service. We didn't get out till 2.... this was when the preachings filled your mind and soul and the congregation wasnt scared to praise his name. GGT is not what it use to be. But I guess you can't expect for things to remain the same!!!! Watching this brought tears to my eyes!!!!

You are so right about that, most sanctified churches back in the day used to get end their worship services at 2pm, I know the churches in Flint did, and it was this same way at my first old church , it was like this every Sunday , I miss church like this .

Grew up in GGT. I keep coming back to this video because I see my late Grandfather @7:45. He passed shortly after Bishop did.

i use to walk from 8 mile & wyoming every sunday to be in service at Greater Grace Temple

This is so helping me in my grieving for my loved one of 8 years, He is gone and my insides feel empty but this song gives me hope to hold on and not give in to the grief. He died just a few days ago.

He built an entirely new building from the blueprints he received from his father during I believe the Thanksgving holiday just prior to his departure.

I'm so glad someone post this, because ain't nothing like that old Grace.

My pastor was stating the lyrics to this song while he was encouraging us to be positive and patient while waiting on your promise and what God has in store for you. then he said you know back in the day the old saints would sing "JOY BELLS KEEP RINGING IN MY SOUL". In other words although your heart maybe heavy and your patience is low. find them joy bells be positive anyhow. powerful message today and it wasnt even the sermon but he went in with the holy spirit then we had a praise break. this song will make you wanna shout

If this type of atmosphere can just STAY in the church, alot of stuff in our lives and in our churches wouldn't be! The church is in dire NEED of this type of pentecostal atmosphere...there power and anointing here!

Let me tell you.. you can tell who always wasn't saved by their shout. at 7:12 two brothas in the the church back to back was praising like they been somewhere in life that they happy they arent anymore.. The first brotha was two stepping with Jesus and tThe second brotha had that shout walk/choir entrance step going. This is a blessing though.

WE had some Sho~Naf CHURCH!!!! In the day. There was no such thing as quenching the spirit in our church. Bishop believed in letting God have His Way!!!!
