I remember Dr. Clark. I did not know him personally, but he was friendly, gentle, and seemed to be joyful person. Suddenly, I miss my little gold shovel pin. I think I got it from the church he was located at in Tidewater, VA 1986... maybe 1987. Could have been an anniversary service. Who would have thunk a little piece of gilded plastic from the 80s would still be meaningful today? But the mortgage document! Seems like the ashes of it was kept in the foyer of the church building for all to see. Hallelujah! Still rejoicing. Still in awe. After all these years. He left a testimony and legacy of enduring hope. May God continue to bless his family while they are absent from each other. :0)

Bishop Owens was amazing! He could preach the same sermon in 100 different ways. He didn't have to hoop... he could turn the church out just by speaking. When he was the presiding bishop he put the church on a sound financial path by withholding the salaries of all the national officers for 2 years. When he left office the church had millions of dollars in the bank. He was truly a great man of God. RIP, Bishop.

James Hill This was the very first time I heard him preach in person. I had heard about this golden voice in Memphis. We became friends. I was honored to preach at Greater Community in Marietta when he was yet the Presiding Bishop. He also honored me by coming to speak at my banquet. He was a great orator, preacher and friend. I miss calling him just to see how he was doing. He made me feel like I was special to him. When he would call me he would say: “rabbi, rabbone -i-a.” I knew it was him. Although, not the first time he did it. I miss my friend/dad. Rest in the bosom of Jesus, Bishop!

A true great man of god. The devil is so busy. They didn’t like it at all when bishop Patterson made him 2nd presiding bishop after bishop Washington passed. He then ascended to the 1st asst. presiding bishop. When he became presiding bishop that’s when the jealous and evilness of saints started to expose itself. I was shocked and dismayed that bishop g.e. Patterson allowed them to turn him against him so called brother. You so what happened though? Think about it.
