@MrCogicson1 One reason is the family had to catch a flight to Newark, NJ for the final Homegoing Service of our Beloved Bishop! Plus a bunch of other mess of which we will NOT discuss on here. :)

@COGICBrotha I'm sure. I remember some things about leadership during G.E's homegoing services. It was a mess but that's our church for ya. Bishop Owens is with the Lord now..he's getting well deserved rest from all of his labor.

@2cogic4u Yeah, I went for the national homegoing but there was no "release" allowed...there was restriction from the general board..you could feel that tension.

@MrCogicson1 Amen! These super stiff church folk can ruin a perfect move of God! I'm all for order and protocal, but when God is in the building, do what HE wants you to do!

Paris and time better praise the lord... We had a good time over at New Life Tabernacle tho.. ANd NJ was even better...

They are too formal. They don't really allow for the spirit to have freecourse at these services. It was the same way at the National Homegoing for the late Bishop G. E. Patterson. The church needs to get out of tradition and flow with the spirit of God. God moves we are to follow not the opposite way.
